I mostly shop here for lunch and like their sushi options -- fresh and affordable -- as well as the produce section. It's a clean, large store with friendly service and reasonable prices.

I shop here almost every day. I find the prices to be about the same as other markets (some higher, some lower). I love the neighborhood market feel.

The deli staff could use a kick in the a&^.....I can do my entire shopping in the time it takes my husband to get 2 items. It takes forever for them to wait on you and they move like snails.

All the other staff are friendly and excellent. Give this market a try.

Went here to pick up a nice big bag of chips with lunch (as opposed to those tiny 99cent bags) and thought I'd get a sandwich. I stood in the line that said "Order Here" for probably ten minutes, said I'd like to have a Nevada City sandwich, and was told that I was in the wrong line, I should wait "over there" (not that there was anything indicating this) and that I needed a ticket. Well, I said screw that, bought my chips and went next door to Bagel Street Cafe for my sandwich.

But aside from that experience, the grocery store part of the place is quite nice, with a fairly extensive selection of 'natural foods', as well as a good selection of 'unnatural foods' (heehee)... I was in and out fairly quickly (admittedly I only had two bags of Doritos to buy) and the place is definitely huge.

They do seem to run a little expensive, though. A four-pack of Starbucks Frappucinos was "on sale" for $5.99, but I've always seen the same thing "on sale" at Safeway for $4.99...

PROS: Big store, very wide selection
CONS: Little expensive, deli counter people not very helpful.

The Redwood Shores Nob Hill has become a regular stop of mine. They have a good, fresh produce selection, good prices, friendly staff, and an open, clean environment. I especially like their sandwich and sushi lunch selection. It's a great place to swing by for a healthy lunch to go.

PROS: great sandwiches

I love going to Nob Hill. It is across from my husband's work so we go often. The prices are just great -- Tide laundry soap is $1 cheaper than at Target! They also have many sales and don't have a "club" that you have to join. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have ordered party trays from them for a birthday and got some great sandwiches as well. They have kid sized carts as well as the "car" shaped ones for the kids to ride in.

Nob Hill isn't my neighborhood store, but I feel compelled to shop there. It has a great selection of natural foods. It's well lit so everything looks appetizing and you can leisurely shop. It's the place I come for my Passover needs (most grocery stores have a very limited selection). And they have just lowered a lot of their prices!
