This is the worst rental company I have ever seen. They are consistently rude, inconsistent, and threaten you with fees at every opportunity they can. I have never been treated so poorly as a tenant and Brenda is condescending and insulting. This company repeatedly threatened to fine us for the most absurd reasons and they constantly showed our apartment to new renters THREE MONTHS in advance and with less than 12 hours notice. Do your best to stay away from this deplorable company.

Worst company u can possibly rent from. Somehow there is always fees that go unmentioned when u speak to them. You are not made aware until you recieve the late fees from them. Nothing is ever their problem and Brenda the owner is the most unprofessional women I have ever met. She doesn't want to know about anything but wants to charge u for everything and screams in your face. Updates to the buildings are rare! THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF SCAMS!

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS! this is not a joke. They will take every penny they have from you. They will compile a list of things that they "fixed" and you owe money for and won't tell you, they will just send it straight to the collection agency. They told us we had everything paid up and then sent in a 400 dollar unpaid rent bill to collections. They charge you to fix things that renters shouldn't have to pay. And then you have to get attorneys to fight them. DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY. BEWARE.

Pennant Investment uses Paylease to collect rents and homeowners fees. For three years I've had trouble with login to pay my homeowners's fee annually on Pennant's site. Contact Pennant, and they will try to make it sound like the problem is your computer, not their site. At least they respond, so no one-star nasty rating for them. However, they seem too lazy to fix their site too.

To pay online, bypass Pennant's defective site and go directly to the Paylease site, which will work.

But FIRST, grab your checkbook, not your bank card. Paylease will hit a person with a $23 monthly homeowners fee about a $23 "convenience fee" to pay that monthly bill with a Visa account. That's about 100% in fees, several times the usury rates that banks are allowed to collect on credit cards. One can cut this to a $2.20 fee by simply using a direct bank account rather than a credit card.

I was worried if the heat had been left on and called and asked if they would check this as we were four states away. After we returned home they sent a bill for $165, a fact not mentioned in my phone call and not in the lease. My advice find another company to rent from.

This company has a very steep sec deposit requirement for pets and a lease that is hellishly long and is NOT remotely tenant-friendly. No matter how great your references and pets, you'll be asked to pay a $500/pet sec deposit, and that includes aqauariums and reptiles. The lease was written to protect every atom in the house, and it remains to be seen if they return security deposits in a fair and appropriate way. They have a lot of ways to get more money out of tenants -- from a $25/person "application fee" to a fee to replace the locks at the end of the lease. I'll be sure to write another review when my lease is up so you know what to expect if you deal with them.
