Yum- love the food here! It's our new favorite Mexican Restaurant! Wonderful coconut margaritas, excellent tamales, and outstanding queso. We live in the neighborhood and it is one of our favorite restaurants to frequent.

I love Mexican food and this is one of my favorites. I haven't eaten there in a while, but used to go on a regular basis. It's not your standard "hole in the wall" extra-spicy Mexican food, but is nicely seasoned - not too hot and flavorful. I love the ambiance as well.

I love mexican food, and avoid this place like the plague (even though coupons are fairly readily available). Of all of the mexican restaurants in Denver that I have personally visited, I think of this one as the worst.
1Upon arrival, the place had a good atmosphere and looked to be a bit higher class than most Mexican restaurants. We were seated immediately, drinks brought promptly & our appetizer of chile con queso came out just as our chips & salsa

Pros: Excellent service & food came out FAST!
Cons: Food was bland, no flavor and no spice.
Great food, great service, great prices. I read the last reviews and want ot know what drugs these morons are taking. This is some of the best food and Margs in town. The Sunday brunch is GREAT!! The only bad thing about this place is the parking. Its worth the block or so walk and is very family friendly. I bring my three kids with my wife and we are always treated like family.

Eating at Las Margaritas is like rolling the dice. I have dined there 4 times over the past 2 months and it has been great twice and disgusting twice. Batting .500 is good for a baseball player but not for a reastaurant. I suggest you

I read some of the previous reviews and have to correct some of the errors. First this is not Tex Mex..It is Las Cruces style mexican food. Secondly anyone who orders a house margarita gets what the deserve. Buy one of the many other

I have to admit this is not the best place for food or drinks, but its on restaurant row and its definitely worth a visit now and then. I often come for lunch and have to admit, it does not taste like traditional Mexican food (in regards

Pros: Good service, clean & affordable
Cons: food is not that good
This restaurant has many great things going fit it. They have an avocado dip that is made to your liking at your table. The food is great - the best Baja Fish Tacos I've eaten. But the frozen margaritas were tasteless. The bartender

Cons: the margarita
The service is always very attentive, the atmosphere is very comfortable (a lot of plants) I really enjoy this chicken dish called Pollo Tampico, very tasty. My friend really enjoyed the Spinach Enchiladas and we both shared the Chocolate

My wife and a good friend used to live near 17th and Ogden - just a block away from this Las Margaritas location. We went there a couple times and the food was dissapointing. I've heard several other people say the same thing about the

I like to go here if your going out with friends. Its not great food, but it works if you been drinking and want to hang out with friends. The prices are ok, drink prices seem a little high. If you want to go out to dinner with the family, you might want to skip this place.
PROS: drinks

Las Margaritas has decent Mexican food for it's dinner service and the margaritas aren't bad (although certainly not the best in town). But the Sunday Brunch is absolutely horrible. The food was some of the worst "cafeteria style" Mexican food that I've ever had. Parking is very difficult. There is not lot, so you need to try to find parking on 17th or a side street.
PROS: Decent dinner service, margaritas
CONS: Terrible food at Sunday brunch, difficult parking

While searching for a place to have lunch in Capital Hill a friend and I discovered this Upscale Mexican restaurant with the Biggest patios (2) Patios! My native Denver friend told me that Uptown Denver/East 17th Ave is Denver's original

Pros: Margaritas, Patios, Enchiladas
Cons: Someone should, have told, me sooner
One of the best happy hours in Denver, reminiscent of the old days - with free appetizers and drink specials.
The old fashined margarita is the best - very much like the margaritas you can obtain in Mexico

Great prices for mexican fare that is a bit more off the beaten track. Creative combinations result in very flavorful good food. From Enchilada samplers to Marinated mexican beefsteak - definitely something for everyone.
