Being from Louisiana, my husband and I experienced a wonderful seafood delight of lobster, clam, and scallops. I think it's a big complement coming from people who are from La. Can't understand how someone didn't enjoy, except they are not used to good seafood and good seasoning! We will be back in a few weeks and already planning two or three dining stays at Butchs!!!

Butch's is located on Snowmelt Road (though Carriage Way is indicated above) in a condo at the top of the road leading up the Snowmass ski resort. It's a land-locked part of the country, certainly not where you'd expect to find a lobster bar. But Butch is from Rhode Island and has been able to bring a little bit of the New England seacoast to Colorado. In addition to the lobster and other tasty seafood, the menu also features chicken, steak and ribs, as well as a children's section. Open only Thursday through Sunday, Butch's gets a big play and can be a bit noisy, but once you start digging into those lobsters, clams, shrimp, and scallops, you forget about any noise and simply enjoy the food.
