We are very pleased with the work. Our concerns and questions were addressed promptly. Luis, the painter, did a very good job.

Our 2 week housing re-side with Superior ended up taking 5 months. In that time, due to several "challenges" with Superior, several portions of the house needed to be re-sided, the whole house had to be repainted twice, and dozens of e-mails were exchanged. My wife and I felt that we ended up being the supervisor's on the project. Unfortunately, every time there was a major quality problem, we were the ones who found it. Superior would also continually give us timelines or tell us that things would be completed by certain dates that never happened.
Additionally, despite the fact Superior told us they were preferred remodelers of James Hardie Siding Products (as Superior currently boasts on their web site), a call in to James Hardie proved that they were no longer preferred remodelers due to customer complaints including not following best practices according to James Hardie (as was told to me by James Hardie personnel). Had I known this when we started the project I would have selected an actual preferred remodeler, not someone falsely stating they were a preferred remodeler.
Additionally, when we brought up our concern that best practices as outlined by James Hardie were not being followed in terms of cutting the fiber cement boards (masks, rebreathers, and/or vacuum equipment should be used because the dust can be carcinogenic) Tom Higgins (Owner of Superior Products) told us that it was okay because the workers cutting the boards were contractors who signed waivers saying they couldn't take him to court if they got cancer. My wife and I were speechless!
In the end, I asked for a partial refund due to our frustration with the work that had been performed. Superior offered a small amount of money to us but only if we agreed not to share our experience with others. I told them that would be lying; Superior told me it wouldn't be lying if I said "No comment". Needless to say, I declined the refund.
