So my best friend and I were celebrating our birthdays together. With a wonderful concert at Red Rocks.\r
I have been coming to this resturant for years.\r
Tonight was the worst of all my visits. We decided to sit at the bar. Think

Giving this place even one star hurts me! We went to dinner and Miles our "waiter" was very rude and obviously not a fan of kids. Three items we ordered we were told they were out of. Electra is very unprofessional. They need to kick

Boy, they must be writing these reviews, because I've never experienced such rude, nasty service. "Miles" was in rare form. Waited 25 minutes for our meal while he chatted with the only other table in the restaurant. When we asked if it

first time in red rocks grill we did some asking around and had heard this was a great place for mexican food, sadly it was under seasoned very bland. the appitizers were awsome as was our sons burgers. kind of pricey but huge portions. we will probably try it one more time and have burgers but the mexican food left alot of room for flavor. just a little fyi tell the bartender to pull up his pants or buy a belt.

Fantasic Setting close to the Red Rocks, food is ok but the Margaritas are second only to the Morrison Inn. Makes for a convienent stop when visiting redrocks or the ampitheater.

I recently visited RR Park to find they now have a restaurant with an awesome view. The sandwiches were delicious. I will come back sometime and catch a great show with a great meal.

Friendly waitstaff, big portions of good food, a good bar with microbrews and a great combination of locals and visitors make it a unique experience. If you are as tired as I am of chain restaurants, and want something more authentic, give them a try!

Pros: Mexican food and BIG margaritas

Cons: Too popular -

The Red Rocks grill has the best Margaritas you'll ever taste in Colorado. Its a good place to meet up with friends before seeing a show at the Rocks!

The perfect place for that pre-ride breakfast! Great chicken-fried steak and eggs. However, I did not like the green chili. The bartender, Eric, is fantastic and his Bloody Marys are to die for. We go on Sunday mornings and the place is packed by 10 am. Bikers and locals love it. Kids are ok but it is not the Village Inn.

Service is quick, and friendly in a mountain diner sort of way. Again--not the Village Inn. Mother's Day the place was overflowing but we found room at the bar and enjoyed our usual tasty breakfast and stellar service.

Stop in for a great meal and friendly service.

The last 2 reviews were from 2002, and apparently things have changed a lot. The menu is nothing spectacular, but it appears to be over the head of the cooking staff. I had the NY Sirloin steak. The meat quality was not bad, but not good either. The complete lack of seasoning was apparent from the first taste. This theme was to be repeated. My waitperson asked me about my choice of potato, and I selected the baked potato. He didn't ask me how I wanted it so I just assumed the trimmings would all be on the side. Instead, I got a potato loaded with not just butter, but sour cream, bacon, and cheese. This would be fine if I like it that way, but this is not what I asked for, or was asked about. The steak came with steamed vegatables, but it looked like the veggies came straight out of a bag of frozen veggies. They were mushy and pale and consisted of the typical frozen 'California Medley'. Again, no attempt at seasoning, no butter to accompany the veggies, not other seasoning or sauce. The salad was basic, but acceptable.

OK, maybe I should have stuck with Mexcian food, since that dominates the menu. But this too seems above the grasp of the kitchen staff. My wife had the taco salad. The meat was very bland, and the salsa was reminiscent of watered down pace mild salsa.

I had one of the local micro brew drafts, but it came out nearly room temperature.

The wait staff was more or less indifferent to us. It wasn't very busy, and we were right in fron of the door to the kitchen/wait staff area, and we hardly saw our server. No return to fill up water. They at least managed to remove my empty salad plate.

Not a good way to start the evening before a concert at red rocks.
