We stopped here after a day of biking and had great sandwiches on very fresh bread. The veggies were great especially the baby spinach - added great flavor.

I'm delighted to report that the quality of the food at Artisan hasn't diminished an iota from our last experience there.

We dined with two local friends. She & I each had grilled ruby trout on a bed of grilled asparagus, accompanied by fingerling potatoes. Was that good! The portions were much larger than we would have preferred, so we took home half. My husband had some kind of spicy Thai chicken preparation with fresh pineapple & sticky coconut rice. Our other friend had grilled scallops with spinach, mashed potatoes & other vegetable accompaniments. I tasted one of his scallops & it was wonderful, just perfectly cooked. The four of us shared a grilled artichoke appetizer which we remembered from two years ago. It certainly didn't disappoint.

We'll go to Artisan again while we're here, I'm sure. It's so close, so good, & so reasonably priced. I think our tab last night, tip included, was no more than $60 exclusive of coffee or dessert. For the Aspen area, that's a down-right bargain.
