Bruce Gittleman is a guitar genius, ready to share with anyone who will learn, from novice to expert. As for the ridiculous comment about substandard equipment, you would have to be a clueless novice to not recognize the outstanding vintage guitars on display, for sale, along with the more affordable instruments that most of us end up purchasing. No, you're not going to go in there and hang around, jamming on a high end guitar without any practical means or genuine interest in buying. That's what separates him from the drones at the 'big stores' - he's going to ask "What can I do for you?" and expect an answer other than "Duh, we just want to kill some time and play your guitars."

I've bought guitars, amps, and taken lessons from this man - he lives guitar. The first time I "shopped" him I found I could buy the same guitar for $50 less at a big operator, but their case was $45 higher than his price. The five dollar net difference made the decision a 'no brainer'. It's tough to put a price tag on personal service and attention, but my experience with this guy is nothing short of terrific!

Pros: A top shelf guitar expert

Cons: One man shop

First of all, this guy has nothing but sub-standard guitars hanging on his walls. Second of all he is a dishonest man. He would not be able to tell you the truth if a gun was put to his head. I don't know what that first reviewer was talking about, but most of the people that I know who have done business with this man, walk away feeling like they need to take a shower. I have lived in Denver for many years and can easily recommend better places to do business with. But Guitarville is a waste of anyone's time. Save the hassle and go somewhere else.

I have lost all respect for this store. There is a very dishonest man working there named Bruce. He would do anything for money. Even if it means going above legal prices on items and, for example, MAKING YOU PAY 50 DOLLARS FOR A JACK BECAUSE YOU KNOW NO BETTER. I believe that this store should be brought down for all the horrible business they do. Not to mention the horrible selection of over priced items. This is a wretched store and I wouldn't reccomend it to my worst of enemies.

Pros: You are given free items your first few times there.

Cons: Once they have you thinking they are good people, they take your money.
