I had a HORRIBLE experience at Childrens Hospital. I had to take my 2 year old daughter to see an ENT doctor (Dr. Kelley)
She was a rude, incompetent doctor. She didn't care about my daughter. She wouldn't return my phone calls regarding my daughter's test results. After notifying a patient representative, I finally received a call from Dr. Kelley. She was very rude to me for complaining about her unprofessional conduct. She told me that my daughter was mentally retarded and that the recommended treatment from the Audiologist was wrong. Well, Dr Kelley was wrong. I took my daughter to an ENT doctor in Longmont, (Dr. Schmid, a wonderful doctor) He treated my daughter, and she is doing alot better. She just needed tubes put in her ears, so she could hear.

I brought my son here for allergy testing and I feel that the care he received was top notch even though his symptoms weren't unusual or all that serious. I've been to other "world class" allergy centers where I was made to feel I was wasting their time because I just had run of the mill allergies. Not at Children's! The staff were so friendly and even the obviously busy doctor took the time to talk to me and took me seriously. I also thought it was cool that they had staff in the waiting room whose sole job it was so play with the waiting kids and do arts and crafts with them. Just one example of the extra attention to detail that set them apart.

PROS: too many to list!
CONS: none

When my newborn had trouble breathing she was transferred to Children's. The care she received there was world class! The whole staff took the time to get to know me and took wonderful care of my daughter. They were supportive of our breastfeeding relationship and always kept me informed of my daughter's progress. I am extremely grateful for their care!

There is nothing worse then when your child is sick and suffering. We had no idea what our daughter was suffering from or what she would be facing. We went to The Childrens Hospital for some pretty invasive testing. While the testing was nothing to boast about itself, the staff is. From the simplest of blood draws to the more complicated tests, the staff was great. The blood draw was the smootest and easiest my daughter had ever had. And at the end of all the testing the Dr was great enough to top it all off with the best brave lion stuffed toy. Just what my daughter needed.
