Awesome food! Service is a bit slow at times but I'm sure it's do to the volume of people in there for the great pizza.

They are extremely rude on the phone and in person. Their pizza isn't good! Do no support a business that is rude to customers!

Unless you like eating bad pizza and having the staff helping themselves to a tip on your credit card I would not go here.

Check your bank statement and your receipt. The last few times I've been here I've had money skimmed off the top of my bill.

Pros: Good pizza

Cons: Stealing money from customers

Saturday afternoon I stopped by to see if their might be any gluten free options on their menu. Not only was I sarcastically told by the clerk he could offer me a "paper plate with cheese and sauce" adding that i would have to take it home and cook it myself. The cook had to add his opinion that he doesn't "believe in gluten intolerance" and started to pontificate to himself in his caveman, uneducated, grunting condescension as I walked away.

I went to two fisted marios a week ago... I paid with my card... it was 41 bucks... looked at my bank statement a week later and they tipped themselves 10 bucks... I tipped them in cash. (not that they deserved a dime) I will never eat there again... the cashier was rude... forgot half our order and when I asked them to correct the order i got attitude for the guy behind the bar. NEVER AGAIN.

While sitting down in this restaurant over lunch I overheard discussions from the guys behind the counter concerning teabagging pizza slices, and photographing it. For me, this was kind of a red flag indicating I should reconsider trusting this food provider. Squirt gun fights with the 409 is another one, as I'm not a big fan of the ammonia flavor. Reading other reviews, maybe this is kind of what they are going for...? Maybe "two-fisted" isn't about boxing? Maybe Best of Citysearch means something different than what I thought?

This breaks my heart. Two Fisted Mario's has some great pizza, but never in my life have I witnessed this kind of embarrassing behavior from customer service, in ANY business. The pizza cook, in particular made the Seinfeld "Soup Man" look like a kind soul. He was swearing at a customer! The staff is really rude. I wonder if they would have been happier if they had no customers and could have used this restaurant as their own private club.
The pizza really is good, so maybe try it on a weekend night, after you've had enough alcohol not to mind the bad attitude of the staff. Just don't even consider bringing your children here.

Average rating only because of the quality of food is good. There pizza is some of the best in Denver especially at 2am after drinking all night. However somehow they manage to staff this place with the biggest losers on the planet. I understand i can get annoying serving drunks all night and I?m not there to make friends with the staff but i have never before witnessed service this bad. Don't even think of bringing you young ones here. It is to close to the bars and you end up sharing your meal with a bunch of loud and inappropriate characters. I never go anymore, not even at night as the bunch of flunkies that are left in charge of this place at night are not worth your time. A member of the staff even used profanity one night because a customer asked about the status of his pizza. The owner of this place must have a horse shoe up his a$$ that he has this location because with the idiots of the earth that he allows to work there this place would be out of business in a week The music is loud but it is usually not bad in my opinion most people probably would not like there selection. In general this restaurant has good food but is filled with skinny punks that think they own the place. I'm sure this review will do little or nothing to harm the business of this establishment but i had to voice my opinion about the people that work there. Get over yourself you serve pizza for a living.

Two-Fisted Mario's is the best place to go after a long night of drinking. The pizza is the best in town and the place usually stays open till 3 am! Fridays and Saturdays usually mean a long wait but Wednesday and Thursday nights are perfect. The service is always great and it can be a really fun atmosphere after hours.

I still go back and forth as to who has the best whole pizza in Denver, but by the slice, Two Fisted Marios is above and beyond the rest. 2 months ago, I strolled the streets of New York in search of the best slice of pizza, usually a mushroom. I had some good pizza, believe me. Each time I ate a slice in New York, I recognized how excellent it was, but there wan't anything that made it better than some of the slices I've had at Two Fisted Marios. I've eaten plenty of times there at 2am, but the pizza tastes just as good at 4 in the afternoon. Yeah, the waitstaff isn't always the friendliest, and sometimes the music is loud, but I'm not there to make friends or for the ambience. So, grab a couple slices and a draft beer, sit out on their Market Street Patio, and enjoy the best slice of pizza in this town!

Two Fisted Mario's Pizza has very tasty pizza with really good ingredients. If you are looking for a quite sit down place do not come here, they have metal blasting but if there is enough room you can take your pizza and eat it outside. It is a fun hangout place.

Two Fisted Mario's is an excellent choice of the plethera of restaurants, diners, and pizza places found in downtown Denver. It is hip, modern, and delicious. The atmosphere is great if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends, listen to some awesome rock-indy-metal jams, and enjoy delicious pizza. The food is made to order, and the price is relatively low compared to other pizza places around town. Great place to grab a bite on your way to a Rockies game!

This is the best pizza in Denver. I've eaten pizza in the biggest cities in America, and I've never had pizza this good. You can taste the fresh sauce. The thick delicious cheese and the toppings are huge and cut fresh. The staff is great, and they know they are the best in the city. It's just amazing. Honestly, the best pizza I've ever had. You will NOT be disappointed.

This place has the best Pizza I have ever ate! They give you pizza by the slice or the pie. You can also get "rabbit food" if you like (salad) I love the atmosphere. We took my hubbys brother there once and before he was leaving back to California he wanted to go back! He even has asked for us to ship him some pizza!

All the other reviews are worthless. I have read them and they can be summarized as follows: 1) I am a retiree who does not understand the most recent generation and I am highly critical of any establishment that caters to said generation or 2) I am a gnarly dude and i was to eat some 'za at a chill joint. Neither of the aforementioned reviews provide a clear picture of the restaurant. I will attempt to avoid generational affiliations and provide unbiased criticism.

The restaurant has an excellent location right off the 16th St. Mall and nestled nicely inbetween a row of bars and other restaurants. It has an unassuming entrance and that theme carries into the dining room of the restaurant. The only real decorations are the posters on the wall that detail upcoming entertainment such as concerts, comedy acts, etc. One of the first details you notice is the heat.: there is no air conditioning. The menu selection includes pizza (by the slice or whole), calzones, and salad. The prices are standard for pizza (2.50 per slice, 15 for a whole pie) and the portions are excellent. One slice will fill up most average eaters. The dining room can seat roughly 40 people comfortably and some tables are actually old Atari games which help pass the time as you wait for your food. Other reviews complained of loud music, however when I attended (9pm on a Monday night), there was no music at all and the only thing you could hear was a TV with the History Channel playing.

The staff was very laidback and friendly. Other reviews describe how mean the staff are but beings how this place is open until 3 am, I would assume the unfriendly service is attributed to drunks at the end of a weekend night.

The pizza itself is pretty good though nothing outstanding but after a night of barhopping, it probably tastes like ambrosia.

Overall, the restaurant was fine for casual dining and would only be highly recommended as a late night food stop.

This place rocks. Great pizza. The only "real" place in LoDo. The people are honest with a great sense of humor, and OBVIOUSLY have a tough job to do on the weekends. Tip them well. Too well. You have to learn to not be to sensitive, they are trying to do so much at once. WOW I couldn't do their job, RESPECT the MARIO. Love it, be open minded and you will have a blast!!!!! Plus they serve Old Style, simply amazing. well done guys(and the like 2 chicks that can handle workin there)

After reading some of the reviews I think it is a bit over rated. The pizza is basic, however it does have a goof flavor. The seating is very small and its not that clean of a place. For a slice of pizza you typicaly have to stand and wait. Overall, food is good, location is difficult to get into and the place is sort of low quality.

I've been a frequent customer at Two fisted Mario's for a year now, I live in Aurora and drive all the way to Down town Denver nearly every night just for a slice of delicious pizza and to hang out on a late night with some friends after work. The main thing that attracted me to Two Fisted's was the atmosphere, a very young and fun atmosphere, and of course the music that they play every now and then..METAL! The employees are young, very outgoing and fun, just be open-minded! They enjoy what they do, and one can easily tell by the enthusiasm in the kitchen and the delicious pizza that they prepare for you each and every time. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

but what happened? they no longer play the music that made the restaurant so unique. i'm very disappointed and i think the business is definitely going to suffer. :( :(

I absolutely love going here.
There's delicious pizza and great people working there.
Everything from the music the attitude is wildly refreshing from the stale typical pizza places.
It is honestly probably the most fun you could have going to dinner.

The pizza is OK, but the service is absolutely the worst I've ever experienced ANYWHERE! Even after giving them a large tip for my single slice, they were complete a$$holes to me for no reason at all! I Ordered my slice to go, but they gave it to me on a plate, so I said "Hey, I need this to go." The guy replied "I KNOW! I can read.. Duh. Does that mean you need a box?!" After throwing a box at me, he then demanded his paper plate back! WTF?!?!? All this and when I was walking out he was laughing at me with the other chef!

If you're sitting at the Double Daughter next door having drinks, order a pizza there.. but NEVER, EVER go in Mario's and order anything or expect to be treated like chump change.

Is the giant sign they have hanging near the register. A flying monster flys above the cooks. Loud punk music plays and everyone seems to be having fun. These are the first things I liked about the pizza place. After a short wait for my pizza, I tasted it and it was great!!! Real authentic pizza served by real authentic people!

Chose this restaurant because it seemed to be the only pizza place opened late night on a Sunday. What a mistake! The servers were rude and passive-aggressive. They were playing really violent sounding music too loudly for our dinner companions to have a conversation. It hurt our ears. We politely asked them to change the music or turn it down. They only turned it up and smirked at our table. We finished the decent tasting pizza while getting headaches and headed out. Four of us had two slices a piece and the total was $20 so not badly priced, but we also had to put up with dirty tables and floor. One of the bathrooms was out of order so all had to use one toilet in another bathroom that was filthy. Maybe takeout is a better option for this place.

I've frequented this place since it's opening and was very disgusted by my recent visit.
It started with a few of the employees dropping the F...bomb a few times while me and my 4 year old and 1 year old were waiting to order. That was followed by the same bunch coming to the outside dining area, which we chose due to the foul language, and smoking cigarettes and continuing on with the same profanity. I followed them inside to watch them start making pizzas without washing their hands....yuck!!!!! I then started looking closer at a few of the employees to see that they had very probably not had a bath a few days and had very mangy hair and should also be wearing hair nets. I will not be a customer of this once nice eatery anytime soon....Will you??

You'll be disappointed if you buy into the "it's just like East Coast pizza!" reviews, but Mario's pizza is Completely Acceptable. Very good by Denver standards, just kind of okay by Philly/NYC standards.

Depending on when you go, Two-fisted can be PACKED. It has an ajoining bar, so weekend nights are usually extremely croweded, and sometimes full of drunk people. There is limited seating, and if you go when they're really busy, there's a good chance you might not get a seat at all. The crowd is usually young and loud, as are the employees. They keep the atmosphere like that of a bar, with loud music and an almost "rowdy" feel to it. They are open late, usually till about 3 a.m.. The pizza is extremely delicious and fresh! I've only tried the basic pepperoni, but it is perfect! I don't know how it could taste any better. I love going to Two-fisted. The flavorsome pizza, college-type atmosphere, and great hours and location make it my favorite pizza place in Denver!

Not bad pizza... actually pretty good... One problem: Severe bi-polar disorder with respect to the employee attitudes. We had a misunderstanding (about the verification of proper identification for alcohol consumption) that turned into a grotesque display of "the right to refuse service to any customer". It was sorted out, but it was painful. I know this place probably sees it's fair share of under aged "sippers" and they have to manage that risk accordingly, but please don't take your angers out on legitimate customers. I am not looking for an butt-kissing, just some common respect. Other than that, pretty good pizza, colorful atmosphere, (except for the smoking right in front of the door), and a mostly down to earth staff.....

Not bad pizza... actually pretty good... One problem: Severe bi-polar disorder with respect to the employee attitudes. Pros: Good Za

Cons: Staff may need to cool off a little

This a good place to grab a bite late at night. It's open till 3am or so. On the weekends I recommend getting there before last call or you'll have to wait in a long line. Also, if you order the pizza by the slice it comes up a lot faster than if you order a whole pie. I guess the slices are pre-made and a whole pie they start from scratch on.

I've been going here for a few months now as I miss the true east-coast style pizza from back home. Thier slices are big, have the "New York" thin, soft crust and have just enough sauce and cheese. The topping selection is better than most places (check out their "shroom 'n' spin" pizza) and the toppings are always tasty.

The atmosphere is pretty hip, too. Late at night the employees always have the music cranked up. Last time I was there the employees were throwing some of the toys (that they leave on the tables for the customers to play with whilst waiting for their orders) at each other, which made things fun.

Every time I crave pizza, this is where I go. I have their number on speed dial!

The pizza we had here was great! The staff was prompt and nice. We wondered in at around 3pm on a weekday so I dont think they were busy but we ordered a whole pizza and it was ready very quickly. The toppings were good, the sauce was flavorful, the crust was crispy and everything tasted fresh. No it wasnt anything fancy just very good pizza. Dont be put off because its doesnt look pretty, if you are looking for a good place to get pizza this is it, and its great that they are open so late, late night places to eat (with good food) are hard to find. I know we will definitely be going back.

Want some authentic pizza that kicks ass? Then make your way to Two-fisted. Tasty dough, plenty of toppings, and all set in one of the most intriguing settings for a pizza joint you'll find. Great place for a date as well.

Great pizza. It was served piping hot. The music was a bit different but it added to the experience. Go and enjoy...you even get a little toy to play with while you wait.

Mama Mia! What could be better than the pies these kids serve up! Open late, cheap, excellent ingredients, simple, always some kinda interesting music going, laid-back staff. Of all the places in this city that I frequent, never do I see so many regular faces in line with me. That is what a real pizzeria is all about. This is what is meant by "support your locals" this place is as independent and true to form as it gets in Denver. Keep it up!

Ok Folks, If you like a limp crusted pizza with tasteless toppings then here's your favorite place. I visited Mario's during lunch and was not impressed by the atmosphere - contemporary dive. When I received my much anticipated pizza I was horrified. I'm a pizza lover, have been all my life and this makes Domino's look gourmet. Awful limp, soggy crust. Hardly any cheese, tasteless toppings and lukewarm. I want a slice of pizze, not watered down bread with ketchup. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Anytime of day this pizza is great. The pizza itself is crafted with some great, sometimes unusual ingredients. The crust is perfect, and they bring it to you piping hot. They also have a good selection of beers to go with your pizza
If you are at the lodo bars though, it's the energy after two am that really makes this place happening.
The lines can be long (especially after the bars close) but you can always order it for take out. I love Mario's pizza so much it's the only pizza I eat

Mario's doesn't claim to be a 4-star restaurant. They just boast some of the best pizza in town, and rightly so. The laid back atmosphere may turn away some, but sets most at ease. The pizza is prepared quickly, and right in front of you as the employees give a demonstration of what "fun at work" is all about.

Two Fisted Marios is one of the best places for pizza I have ever been to. The people who say this place isn't good are WRONG! With laid back employees and some of the best pizza for a cheap price, you can't go wrong.

I eat at Two_Fisted mario,s every chance that I get. The slices are not small at all. And to top it off you can get a beer. Its by a great out door mall. Great people work there. The wait for your pie / slice / calzone is little to none. Unless there is line going out the door. And even then its not as long as some of the other places.
