I really used to like this place, but they??re service has gone down way hill. I had the pleasure of talking to what appears to be one of the company's business managers.
Background: two nights ago, I contacted a store because they failed to deliver a pizza I ordered. They told me they had never received the order. I had placed the order at 9:15, with an estimate of 10:00 delivery. I called at 10:40, and asked where my pizza was. The person who answered said they never received the order and that they were already closed. I asked for the manager-on-duty??s name and hung up the phone. I then sent an email off explaining what happened.
This is the email:
Hi,
my name is Forrest Mcomber. I'd like to put a complaint in.
I placed a order at 9:15 online for this store, with a delivery time of 45 minutes.
Borriello Brothers on Research

I called them around 10:40 after never receiving the order. They told me they were already closed and they never received the order. This was kind of big problem because we had a bunch of guests over and now we have to run out and get food because your company can't do it's job right. Manager on duty was Olivia.

Response was:

Forrest,
We tried to do our job right. You placed an online order with an address of:
0 PROMINENT PT ,
COLORADO SPRINGS ,
CO ?? 80924
The crew in the store called the number that was in your profile, but you never answered. They were trying to find out where this delivery was supposed to go, since a street number of 0 isn??t exactly something we can find on the map. With no address and no one picking up the phone to give us real directions, you are correct, we can??t do our job right. By the way, we had to trash the pizza and sub that you ordered last night. We don??t appreciate making food for a customer and then having to throw it away. If you would like to fix your profile with an actual address that we can find on a map and a phone number that someone will answer, we will happily deliver an order to you.
Chris

My response was:
That's funny. Last time I checked the customer is supposed to be right. my phone was on, the phone number was correct. I did call the store, and they told me they never received the order. You want to protect a bunch of employees that lie at your store, that's your problem. I put in the correct address. I can't help it your system decided to change it to a zero. All the errors were made on your end, not mine. Put in 9875 in place of the zero on a mock order and see what happens. It changes it to a zero. I get mail here, your system is messed up and you can't even own up to that. Who's above the store manager? I want a email and a phone number.

And:

And, I also pulled up my account info, my apartment complex is listed on the account info page. B.B. made all the errors on their end.

Last response was:

Forrest,

You are already WELL above store manager in talking with me.

The customer is not always right. The address I sent you is what is in HungerRush, the Online ordering portal. Regardless of the apartment complex being listed or not (which is still not enough info for a delivery), it is your responsibility to ensure that the order you place is correct. The checkout page lists the address for delivery, which would have shown the zero instead of whatever you say you entered. You submitted the order with the incorrect address and did not answer our call to clarify. Make all the excuses you want, but the error was made by you.

You can continue to email me your concerns, but I have all of the information regarding this situation, including the online transaction log, in store log, and the phone log, and it is clear to me what happened.

Chris

I hope any of you reading this story never order from this place. They have the worst service in the world, and even people way up high the chain don??t care. This guy obviously doesn??t. I can forward these to anyone above Chris Stein if you contact me at: Forrest.mcomber@gmail.com

Borriello Brothers is by far our favorite pizza in the Springs. We love the New York Style and the great prices. The employees are always very friendly, and it's a laid back atmosphere. Great for families...eat in or take out!
