Great menu with a variety of unique preparations. Great atmosphere. But overall, it was a great place to eat and enjoy the company.

One of the best secrets in south denver. So yummy! Love the decor and firepit. Try the duck salad or fried avocado. Their new chef has really turned this place around.

Thoroughly impressed. Food was excellent. One of those hard to find restaurants that has a quality of a food you would expect to pay $50 or more per person but is only $15. Best enchiladas in Denver, I am from AZ and know my mexican food,

The OBL is one of my favorite places to eat. The beef enchiladas are excellent. They are even better with a fried egg. The margaritas are great. And if you are in the mood for some sweets, the OBL sundae is awsome. Two scoops of ice cream

This is a decent place to eat in the Ranch. Parents, look up the word baby sitter, google it. There is a Red Robin down the street if you are compelled to drag your toddlers to dinner, don't bring them here. Please.

we enjoyed the relaxed feel. It was too cold tosit outside, but the view of the fire pit is always fun. The Nat's salad was unique and tasty!

Had a filet mignon steak at OBL on a Friday night, then had a steak in San Francisco at a highly rated restaurant there and I have to say I have NEVER had a filet this delicious. Kudos to the chef at OBL!!

Never had such a fun bar experience! Best margaritas! I am going to eat there whenever I can. Nicest staff. Including the manager Lance, really accommodating group. Made me feel at home. Fried avocado!

I had a really nice meal at Old Blinking Light in Town Center Highlands Ranch Saturday Night. I have eaten there three times now and not had the same thing twice. That is rare for me.

Good food, friendly service and in the warmer weather the patio is a great place to watch the world go by. Not fancy and not 'home cooking' but still their smaller plates are great for what they are meant to be.

I love the ambiance with the firepit, candles and live music. The food was great and we were blown away by the service. Some menu items change periodically and they have a bar menu if you just want to grab a non-fancy bit. Great for a change of pace from all of the chain restaurants in Highlands Ranch.

Pros: Service, Sweet Potato fries, martinis

I love kicking back by the fire pit with some duck tacos and a beer or having a romantic night out for a perfectly cooked fillet with the hubby in their unique, organic atmosphere. Beautifully plated comfort food with a southwestern kick. Make sure to try the truffle fries.

The food is organic, unique and great! I loved sitting on the patio wrapped in the provided mexican blankets by the fire.... Prices are very reasonable - mid range and there is plenty of food to split with two....

Located conveniently in the Town Center the Old Blinking Light has a nice patio dining area. We went last night and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. They have a fire pit for when it gets cooler. The menu is diverse but a little pricey.

We picked this restaurant by having seen it one afternoon while shopping at Tattered Cover near by. We did our homework by looking up the restaurant on-line to get an idea of the menu and price. When we arrived we were greeted quickly and told it would just a moment before being seated - which it was. The decor is all over the board. Industrial metal meets back lit rock walls meets fire features with huge rusted chains hanging in the back. I'm not sure what they were going for. The restaurant has two locations, Denver and Taos, with the location in Taos being the original. While I?ve been to Taos many times ? I can?t imagine it makes any more sense there either. We thought the prices were slightly on the high side. My husband ordered the fish tacos and they were very small. My sister ordered the buffalo burger and it seemed like a decent value. I had the ranch salad and liked it a lot. It reminded me of the Macho salad at Cherry Creek Grill. The service was slow. Our waiter forgot to bring a beer we had ordered. The patio looks like a great place to spend a summer evening so we?ll give it a try again in a couple of months.

My husband and I tried Old Blinking Light twice. It has a very interesting menu with a sort of Tex-Mex/Southwestern flair on every item. The first time we thought the food was pretty good, a little over priced but good enough to go back again. The last time we went we were really disappointed. The food was very average and not even enough to fill us up. We had the ceveche app. which was completely overloaded with onions. My husband had steak - nothing to write home about - and I had the "tasteless" Mahi Mahi...for $24! We declined getting dessert there since our dinner bill was already over $80 (and we weren't full...yikes!) We had to go over to Cold Stone afterwards.

This restaurant has great ambiance and a unique menu but they need to concentrate more on the quality and taste of the food rather than trying to make everything so "different" and pretty. When you get your bill, there is a comment sheet you can fill out and it says that they will send you a free dessert for filling it out. Well, I filled it out BOTH times and guess what...still no free dessert...TACKY!!! Although a free dessert would not get me back there. There are much better restaurants in the area where you can spend a lot less and actually get full!
