Amore isn't just a place for a haircut, it's a place to relax and be taken care of. It's like having a long term friend and partner who takes care of you and your hair. Sam has taken care of my hair for almost 10 years and I've met a lot of her other hair cut and color clients. We all agree she's really good at what she does and it shows.

Thanks Sam!

Throughout my years I have had my share of unpleasant spa experiences with products and service. I have sensitive skin so I can??t just use any product like everyone else. As a conclusion I wanted to find a place where I could be treated as an individual and not just another client. I wanted professional advice on what products I could use to make my hair as healthy as possible.
After my first visit to Amore Spa I discovered that Sam was just the professional help I was searching for. I won??t go anywhere else. I even lived in Colorado Springs for my first two years of my education and I still made an effort to come up and see Sam when I was due for an appointment. I??d recommend her to anyone!!

You couldn't ask for a more creative hair stylist! Sam takes the time to listen and understand what I want, even though at times I'm undecided. I've never left not feeling a great upliftment. I'd highly recommend the organic products Amore offers. I'm very sensitive to products and have had allergic reactions to other organic products. If you're looking to support an incredible hair designer and great products, I'd highly recommend Amore Spa and Sam's. You'll love it!

This place was great! I pride myself on supporting businesses that use alternative organic methods and found Sam to be very knowledgableabout her products and able to address all my questions. My first visit was everything I could hope for as the haircut was the best I've had in years. I'm really excited to use the new organic products I picked up while I was there! I recommend Amore Hair Studio to anyone looking for a new persepective on hair care!

I tried this salon because I learned it used Organics hair color and being chemically sensitive, didn't want any chemicals in my hair color. At my first appointment Sam, the owner of Amore, tried to convince me I needed not one, but TWO applications of the hair color which, of course, was more expensive than just one application. Having used Organics hair color before coming to Amore, I never had a problem with it covering my gray hair with just one application. But I decided to go along with Sam and let her apply two "coats" of the color. That night my scalp began to burn really badly and I had to get up in the middle of the night and wash my hair. At my second visit, I had my hair colored but this time just one "coat" and had Sam "trim" my hair. I told Sam I wanted a trim of about 1 to 1 1/2 inches, with the back and sides curving under, a little longer than chin length, and with the back and sides slightly angled towards the face. She went and cut a huge chunk out of the back of my hair and left the sides long, hardly cutting them at all. When she dried my hair and I saw how the sides hung down like two window shades, and the back looked like someone cut a wedge of pie out of it (it was supposed to be an "inverted V" shape), I told Sam the sides were too long for the short back and she started to argue with me. She finally agreed to cut the sides a bit, but she cut the hair after it was dry. When I got home and washed all the gunk out and dried it myself, etc., it looked even worse than when she did it because the back puffed up and was even shorter. That was because she didn't use a hair dryer, she used the flat hot iron or whatever it is called. I sent her an email AND a photo of the back of my head showing Sam how short it was. She invited me to come back and offered to cut more off the sides to try to even out the shape, but I was so upset with the haircut that I asked her for a refund of the $75 I paid for that awful haircut. Some guy who claimed to be the "manager" of the salon emailed me back and told me he would send me a refund but that I was never to come back to the salon. HUH? Not come back because I didn't like the haircut and asked for my money back? I think she is very unprofessional and a lousy hairdresser and my haircut wasn't worth anywhere near the $75 she charged. I probably could have done better going to Great Clips for a haircut and next time, that's what I will do. I do not recommend Sam for haircuts. But Organics hair color is terrific. Thank goodness there are other salons in Denver that use Organics.

Pros: Fabulous and talented hair specialist

Cons: NONE

Sam who owns Amore Hair Studio has a wonderful way of making clients feel comfortable and gives them her undivided attention. She is constantly expanding her knowledge of hair (cuts, color, etc.) I have wavy/curly hair and Sam does a wonderful job making it behave! She ends the appt with a relaxing shoulder massage. Organic hair products are used and available for purchase - I would highly recommend Amore.

Amore Hair Salon is located on 28th just before Sports Authority as your heading north. Easy in and out.

This intimate salon is easily reached by anyone in the Boulder area, it's between 28th and 30th on the north part of town. The stylist is very focused on me and really listens to my thoughts and requests- as I are the only person in the salon! I love the experience and the focus on ME alone. No swithboard phones, no blabbering gossip around me, just me, some nice magizines, a glass of sparkling water and my choice of music and aromatherapy. Its so nice that a salon experience can actually fit into my natural lifestyle- organic color? Shoulder massage? excellent! Love it and highly recommend the Amore Spa and Sam to anyone who prefers a personal, relaxing experience over busy, bustling ones.

Amore is a one woman show - her name is Sam and she has been cutting my hair for about 3 years. I have very thick, fine hair and every cut shows - I saw a beautiful cut on a woman and asked where she got it cut and that's how I found Sam. She listens well and she is an artist and a scientist when it comes to hair. My hair was dry when I started seeing her and she talked to me about supplements and products to bring back the shine. She has all natural products - including organic color. She is always on time and I'm a pretty high maintenance client and she will stay with me until I love the cut. I give her my highest recommendation!
