I just finished eating my first meal at Daphne's and it was the worst, cheapest (not in a monetary sense) Greek food I've ever had. My roommate and I ordered our food to go and upon arriving home, looking, and then teasting our food, both of us were very disappointed. I ordered a Falafel sandwich. When I unwrapped it, I discovered that they had only provided it with three flattened, tiny, burnt falafel pieces. To make matters worse, this sandwich came recommended to me by the staff. My roommate bought a gyro sandwich and feta fries. According to him, the gyro meat tasted bland and the texture was cheap. We both tried the feta fries, which sounded good in theory. In practice, the fries were also cheap, (like something that would come out of your freezer) with only a very small amount of feta cheese sprinkled on top. The feta was practically flavorless and tasted like it came out of a can. I am a big fan of Greek food and have eaten at many Greek establishments throughout Denver, the rest of the country, and in Greece. Daphne's Greek Cafe was by far the blandest tasting, smallest portioned, cheapest Greek food I have every had. Needless to say, Dapnhe's was a huge disappointment. My roommate also feels the same way. You know how when you tell your friends when you find a really good place to eat? This is one of those places that was so disappointing I'm going to specifically tell my friends not to eat there. Beware.

Pros: Close to my house, clean
Cons: Everything else
