We live just outside the delivery area so for the past 13 years we've been eating in the dining room there. We have come to know many of the staff over the years and people come and go just as in any other business, we understand

Frontroom Pizza was until recently the best pizza place in Lakewood. The last three times we have had pizza from Frontroom, the cheese has been burnt almost black. This results in an overcooked, rubbery pizza. When one complains to the evening manager about the cheese being burnt, the manager responds with, "I checked the pizza and it was perfect. You just don't like pizza with browned cheese." Browned cheese is fine. Burnt black is not fine. The overn is obviously too hot, as the baked spaghetti comes out burnt as well. I was a longtime customer of Frontroom until tonight, but enough is enough. I wont' be back, and I won't recommend them to others, either (unless one likes burnt pizza).

Pros: none

Cons: burnt food and poor customer service

There was this blond waitress who seemed like she was purposely being rude and giving us BAD service. The food was mediocre at best and way too salty. Try using SPICES instead of SALT guys!

Pros: They were in the neighborhood

Cons: Very salty food, rude waitress

I have eaten at Front Room Pizza many times and the food is always amazing! If you're looking for fast food though, you're in the wrong place. This isn't your 10 minute turn around pizza delivery chain. But the food is presented in a timely manner and is hardly noticeable. Ambiance is nice and staff is friendly. Great for taking someone on a date :)

I have lived in Lakewood for 14 years and always passed by this place traveling around Green Mountain, but never stopped in until a couple weeks ago.Today was my second visit and the pizza was just as great as the first,we got the pan pizza both times as it is my boyfriends fave,we will be back!
As for someone from NY crashing down on the place for not being NY pizza well, like the other reviewer posted...This is not NY, nor do we wish to be.

Pros: The pizza crust,parking

Cons: Not having more locations

With all of the pizza joints in town, I would have thought Frontroom would be more competitive. But with just mediocre pizza, mediocre to poor service and not that great of prices I won't soon go back.

I have been enjoying the 'Front Room' for several years and like most really good restaurants, the food is great and consistently so. On several occasions, we have taken the entire clan, including grandkids, (18 in all) to the Front Room. Never a piece of Pizza crust is left on any of the kids plates. They really have the secret. Another secret. Try their Chocolate filled canole for dessert. (if theres any room left) Talk About 'TO DIE FOR' !!

Pros: food, service, prices

Cons: needs a patio for summertime dinning

Service is average to poor at best. Waiting to be seating takes getting the staff to notice you first. (usually just talking amoung themselves behind counter).

Once seated the wait staff does get your drinks and order pretty quickly. Now wait and wait. Once food arrives it is average. Can get much better pizza most anywhere else.

We tried Frontroom a second time only to have an even worse experience. We went on a Thursday at 1:30 P.M. . It took 10 min to get seated, only one in line and 3 other customers already seated. Drinks came quickly and we orderd. 40 min after we ordered we found out our waiter went home. We asked the Manager (?) where are food was and were told they turned off the ovens but it should be out soon. Food was hot and ok once we did get it.

We tried this place several times but doesnot ever improve. Owner is always unavailabe if you have a complaint.

We will never go back and would not recommend this place to friends.

I'm tired of everyone in Colorado saying "NY Style" pizza because this isn't New York!! This is Colorado, and that's the kind of pizza I want. This is hands down the best pizza in Colorado, and if they weren't in the suburbs, they would be bigger. Great food, amazing service, and great value. Stop eating at the chains, and support a great local business.

This place has been in business for so long, I can't remember a time when it wasn't around! Pizza is delicious, calzones are so big and cheesy and full of yummy gooey toppings you won't be able to stop thinking about them. Be sure not to miss their salad bar, save some of the homemade ranch dressing to dip your crust in. Service is always friendly, Sue is one of the best servers in the biz, and delivery is always quick! To sum it up - FABULOUS!

Great neighborhood pizza place, with sandwiches and pasta, too. Been there a long time and consistently puts out a fine pizza pie. Service can be spotty, salad bar a bit thin. A half carafe of house red for $4? Can't beat that.
