My wedding was photographed by Wyant photography. The package we choose included an engagement picture. We were never asked to schedule this. Instead, a month before the wedding I made an appointment after not hearing from the Wyants. We were never notified our pictures were online, I found them by mistake. The first time we saw our engagement picture was at our wedding. A week prior to the wedding I still had not heard from the wyants as to schedule for pictures, so I again contacted them to make the arrangements. We went over exactly what pictures we wanted with what people and the time line. On the day of the wedding many of the pictures we requested were skipped. The Wyants showed no knowledge of the requests we had made. The went up to my mother at the end of the reception and asked if I only had one brother and asked if she wanted a picture with her siblings. (All this information had previously been provided). When received the proofs of our pictures our worst fears were realized, the only pics of my mother and I is when I am putting my dress on, minimal pictures of my brother and my family members, no picture of me and my bridesmaids, no pictures of me with my aunts and uncles, and no close up pictures of the flowers or wedding accessories (Rings, Programs, Shoes, etc). However we do have 20 pictures of the drunk woman at the wedding. We were extremely disappointed. To make matters worse, we were asked to design our wedding album ourselves, a service we were told the wyants would provide. Finally, we have been married for four months but do not have our wedding album yet. When my parents called to ask when we would receive it the wyants said they didn't know. I would strongly recommend another photographer!!!

A little more to the story replied on 07/28/09 Brides get 8 emails be4 wedding. E's mom gave us wrong email. Person getting emails did not inform us of wrong address. E did see engagements choose one 4 wedding. We agreed to start w/ E & J @1:30, E wasn't ready til 3:10 - 4:00 ceremony. Squeezed formals in, group to back for close ups til 3:50. Did photos of E, J & party around rec. for romantic, fun photos, time was taken away before ceremony. Asked both mom's about list, point out who they were & sitting, I'm sure photos of aunts unless not pointed out. Designed an album then gave E option to make changes. Could change photos, add/delete pgs anything E wanted.Contacted to ask if questions reminder images on line for 60 days as agreed. Called J week before time expired reminder - parents need to make selection & final on album. A week/half photos online, on line 60 days before making decision & 8-10 weeks for custom album. 4.5 - 5 mo. from wedding - on time. E had over 430 different photos, though very late. We enjoyed wed., did give all for couple. Sorry E disappointed, different outcome if info was correct & agreed schedule on time, her album was lovely.
Wyant Photography is a wonderful company that is perfect for any of your photography needs. Jim Wyant is a master photographer whose talent and passion for the art is apparent in all of his works. I had my senior pictures taken by Jim and it was an incredibly comfortable, easy and very fun process. The studio is clean and well propped. The best part of Wyant Photography is the landscape it is set in. The Wyants have a wide variety of outdoor locations including a barn, a river and tons of trees. I am so happy with the pictures they took and would not trade the experience for anything. I recommend this company for any of your wedding, family portraits, senior pictures or other photography needs!
