Dr. Wolverton was the 1st Dermatologist I've seen. I have to rate him low on communication. He had an IUPUI student with him when he examined me. Actually the student examined me and reported back to him. Later he came in and after introducing himself he started rambling to the student all kinds of words that are specific to dermatology I guess because I've never heard them and can't even pronounce most of them. He said he would translate it for me in a few minutes. As it turned out he never did translate it for me and in the five minutes he was there I only learned a little from him by asking questions. He prescribed Hydroxyzine and Desoximetasone for me for my itching condition. The Desoximetasone cream helps my itching so I give him credit for that. I didn't buy the other medicine.
Pros: Student helper was very good
Cons: Poor communication from Dr. and long wait for appointment (3 months)
