I purchased a building from CCC, aka U Build It and Eau Claire Parke, LLC in May of 2007. They built the property themselves in 2004 and were occupying half the space. The terms of the sale included a 5-year lease back of the space they were occupying. Three months after the sale was completed, they left the building and haven't paid a penny since.

We have attempted to resolve this amicably and also through litigation with no results. The space has been vacant now for over 2 years costing us over $450,000 in lost revenue and much more in the value of the building. It came to light after the sale that the Copenhavers have been, or are currently involved, in several matters of litigation where customers feel they've been cheated. They have a history of dragging out cases as long as possible.

In our case, we discovered they had tried to sublet the space the month BEFORE selling the building without telling us. It's abolutely clear to us that their actions were premeditated. The key people involved in the transaction are Brent, Brian and Dennis Copenhaver and Sandy Kazmierzak.

In short, you cannot trust these people to honor their word.
