Pros: best croissats in town

Cons: what are the back drawbacks

.

I know the owner pretty well and know that he is a stickler for cleanliness so I don't know what the other reviewer is thinking. Sounds like she has an axe to grind. I haven't had those experiences while attending a movie there and enjoy the fact that our small town has a quality facility to go to rather than travel. I know the community involvement of the theatre and its personnel goes beyond just serving drinks and popcorn. They have held canned food drives, they participate in the Adopt A Highway program and I saw Chris Jones on TV this past Labor Day during the telethon present a sizeable check for the funds the community raised using the theatre for MDA and their "jail" concept. Churches have met there and town hall meetings along with corporate Christmas parties...so they must be doing something right. Keep the movies going in Columbia City! Go Bones Theatre!

Pros: Best Popcorn in Whitley County

Cons: Not a one

I have never encountered any of the problems listed in the previous review. The Bones theatre is a better than average cinema for a fairly small town. We are lucky to have it. My son says that some of the technical problems reported in the other post are accurate. However, I would imagine that anyone could go to the front desk to report a problem and they would fix it. Incidentally, the strange little lady no longer works there. Yes, there are more choices in Fort Wayne. Yes, it should cost less for older and analog movies, but it costs a lot to run a theatre, especially in a small town where business can be sporadic. My only real complaint is that Bones hasn't converted to digital. If a 3-D kids movie is released, kids in our town have to watch the 2-D analog version. That's kinda not so great.
