This restaurant is bad at multiple levels and avoid it any cost..
The most important thing, FOOD is bad.. The yogurt they use to make chat and lassi has definitely gone bad as we could make out from the extreme sour taste ..

Simply the best Indian food around. I especially love the lunch buffet. No other Indian buffet in Lafayette/West Lafayette comes near it. The flavors are incredible, the spicier fare suits me (note to self: remember tissues as the spicy food drains the sinuses...). The chef mixes up the variety, so that I rarely see the same buffet menu. I have to get a "fix" of Taj Mahal at least every couple of weeks. I've been a "curry house" fan for decades since working in London for a while. This is one of my favorite places yet in the U.S.

Pros: Spicier than the normal "Americanized" Indian food

Cons: What cons?

Well, whether you consider it a pain depends on where you are, I suppose: it's a beast from WL, but if you're already on 65, it couldn't be easier (in the strip mall across from the northbound exit at SR 26). Wonderful samosas and everything else was good too.
