We cordially invite you to join us at The Capital Grille. Whether you're celebrating a special anniversary or just stopping by on any old Wednesday, expect to be wined and dined. Our dry aged steaks have earned high praise from the nation's toughest food critics, and our seafood is flown in daily. Our award-winning collection of over 350 wines is an experience in itself. We hope you will join us to dine on classically prepared fare in an atmosphere that is luxurious & relaxed. It would be our pleasure.
Not worth it

There's only 3 reviews on this restaurant because there is nothing worth writing about! You are better off going to St. Elmo's or Morton's. I've been to the CG in several cities and Indy by far has the worst service and management. If you're thinking of private dining - don't go here! They stuff you into their "Private Dining Rooms (aka walk-in closets)" like sardines. I am surprised the Conrad hasn't kicked them out!
Pros: Location
Cons: Just about everything

CG went above and beyond for us
by dxr222
I don't usually write a review for a restaurant, but I have to for the Capital Grille. We celebrated our 1st anniversary last night at the CG and I could not have planned a better evening. Not only was the service on par with the best restaurants around, they went above and beyond to make the evening special. First, we were taken to a table sprinkled with red rose petals and a personalized card from the staff. Our server Chris was very helpful in suggesting wines that my wife and I both really enjoyed, not to mention giving us a couple samples of a couple different drinks. I ordered the Kona crusted sirloin and it was maybe the best "specialty" steak I've ever had, as was the au gratin potatoes that Chris recommended. For dessert they surprised us with a complimentary dessert and drinks, with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate on the serving platter. To top it off, Chris took our picture, printed it out on photo paper, stuck it in a CG card and gave it to us as a keepsake of the evening.
My wife now considers Capital Grille the most romantic place to dine. Sorry Eddie Merlot. Capital Grille has become our official special occasion place. For the first time, I felt like a fine dining establishment genuinely valued our business. Great food, great service, can't miss.
Pros: Food, service, attention to detail, ambience
Cons: non really, and i wouldn't hide it
