.

Pretty cool to have a walking and bicycling trail so handy; I can pull out the old Dirt Bike and take it for a Cruise whenever I want. Or I can put on my day pack and take a hike for ten or twelve miles and have a cook out or fish, and I am once again a happy camper.

Lots to see and great fun.

Pros: It's all part of God's Litle Green Earth and it is great in the area

Cons: A few more porta-potties would be nice.

.

Plenty of access points with good parking (could use more toilet access though), room for anyone haveing an walk, run, or hiking (volksmarching) event and they even have bikes for use on the greenway and return to the old renovated station traihead. Convient Mile and half Mile markers make it easy to tell how far you have gone and crossing are well marked and there are "Way Stations" for porta-potties and wast recepticals.

It is blacktoped and ther are place to have a picnic or rest and walk along the river or wathc the geese and ducks, and other wild life in the many areas it crosses, brush and trees are kept back from the side (volunteers Needed) by Volunter Work Crews. It even has access to several of the local parks and is close enough to some shopping to use the bike to get groceries and such.

I walkked it from the trail head to the reservoir, did a picnic, swam and hiked back round trip twelve miles (two hours one out and two and half back i stoped a few time to sight see ont eh way back). They run a commerical saying wouldn't it be nice if "Every time" you used the greenway you paid a $1.00 and I think it is good to support the not-for-profit organization that does the work and or at least volunteer some time if you have more time then money. Every time? I don't know about that, but monthly some form of support is needful and called for and well worth the consideration and followthrough.

A Very Great ASSET for Muncie and Delaware County and I hope their plans for more access to busines locations and expansion along the river areas and connections all the way to Richmond IN. and Marion IN. happen soon and I have been told all of Delaware County is now complete as far as the Rails to Trails is concerned. So the rest of the Connections are on the part of each County the Rails pass through.

Doctor ordered me to lose weight so this spring, summer and fall I will indeed use it, eighter on my bike or warking.

Happy Volks-Marching! YeAll.

Pros: Well Managed (could use more volunteers for Maintanice crews) and Well Kept

Cons: More toilets more often with water access
