French Lick Springs Resort

The has all of the nostalgia from years past, a modern casino in the basement, and all of the romantic rolling hills Indiana has to offer. There is no way I could do the place justice in this small area. Please google it and do some research for yourself. I highly recommend a few night stay when you are in the are.

We stayed here for a long weekend in the fall and wanted a place where all generations could enjoy the activities and have choices. This was it! Gorgeous lobby and huge verandah with rocking chairs for relaxing and talking. Bowling alley in the "basement" was a fun way to spend time, and the Scenic Railway ride was especially nice in the fall. Golf, horseback riding, many other options. Sunday brunch was outstanding. Rooms are fine, not spectacular, but you won't be in the room much if you take advantage of the surroundings. (I think they have been renovated since we were there.) Not inexpensive, but a good value!
