I have not yet met a staff member that is unprofessional or rude. Although it can be depressing working in a veterans hospital, everyone keeps their spirits up. They want to help the patients, and most patients are very happy with their treatments. It is a very busy place, and sometimes there is not enough staff for the amount of patients, but they still try their hardest to make everyone happy. I grew up volunteering in different parts of VA, and so far every department I have worked in has been great. The food also is not bad in the cafetaria and I recommend the deli.
