Dr. Franzie needs to remember the oath he took when he became a so called doctor. You discharge people from your practice because they haven't been there in a few years without asking questions. Like was there a life change. Like losing

The staff here is extremely rude! They fail miserably at making the patient feel comfortable or cared for. I just joined the practice and went to my first visit a few weeks ago when I discovered how unaccomodating the staff was. 4 out of the 5 people I interacted with gave the impression that they utterly despised their job, and took it out on me, the patient. The doctor who saw me seemed to rush through my appt. The most discourteous of the entire staff would be the assistants in the back. When I was taken in the back to be weighed, the young girl didn't allow me to remove my coat or even set down my purse before I took my place on the scale; just jotting down the number including my winter coat and pocketbook. (As a woman, I found this to be highly offensive.) They were in no way friendly or amicable toward me, with the exception of one woman who checked me out at the end of my visit. Also, when calling the office, the number of rings and/or hold time before you are helped is absurd. Overall, my experience with this practice so far is unsatisfactory and I definitely would NOT recommend it to anyone. When you are sick, you expect to be treated with some degree of mercy or compassion and, if you agree, this is not a place I would suggest you go.

I've been going here 15 years. Dr. Miller cares very much and I've been told that from others also. I can't really comment on Stein or Franzi because I never really had them. I can only remember once that they took a long time after my appt. time for me to be taken back. Every other time, I was either taken on my appt. time or actually many times it was much earlier if I had gotten there early. I never had a problem with the office staff. They seemed very polite.

Pros: Dr. Miller

Cons: All Dr.'s offices get backed up from time to time

I have been going to this practice for 20+ years. It started out a small "hole in the wall" it is now a very large practice. The office staff is horribly disorganized and rude and led by an Office Manager who obviously worked her way through the ranks, but doesn't understand how to train and grow her staff to accommodate a growing business. She also must not provide any customer service training or quality control. Anytime you call, the phone rings 5+ times before it is answered, there is no 1 individual assigned to this task so anyone in the practice from lab to billing might pick up. It is usually answered with a quick "Doctor's office can you hold please" followed by a very long period on hold (the last few times I timed it and it was over 7 minutes each; one of the times I hung up at 7+ minutes and called back so I don't know how long that might have continued. When at the office, if you are sitting near the reception desk or door you hear one person after another getting frustrated with the front desk and/or muttering under their breath (usually as they leave dissatisfied) Appointments mean NOTHING, you make an 8:30 appt and hope to get to an examining room by 9:30, seen by a doctor by 9:45 (It has taken 2 hours in the waiting room a few times). The doctors only stay as long as they absolutely have to (This I blame the Ins. Cos) I had one of the doctors sigh when I took out a list of questions I wrote down because I got tired of the rush job making me forget everything I came for. I also had a doctor stop me at one point and say, "you're going to have to make another appt for that, we're really behind" (this was not a request for a test or procedure it was a QUESTION about a condition or symptom). I am not a complaining senior citizen I am an alert, (relatively) smart business person, so it is not a situation where I drive them crazy. Do yourself a HUGE favor-find another doctor's office! (the drs. are Stein, Franzi and Miller as far as I know)
