This is definitely the wost hair salon in the Pittsburgh area. I paid good money to have the most obnoxious hair stylist, an ignorant younger lady from Indiana state, completely violate my hair right in time for my daughter's homecoming. She gave me the worst haircut I ever received, and she was very rude to me and other customers while I had the misfortune of trying to give this salon my business. My strong recommendation is to go elsewhere.

I went in on 3/27/10 with a picture of Jessica Simpson's hair, and explained to the stylist that I wanted my hair that color, and I didn't want any brassiness. My hair was already a light blondish-brown with blonde highlights, so I figured a lot of heavy foils would be the best way to attain the look I wanted. The stylist said that she was going to put a lightener all over my hair, and then a toner... Basically, 2 hours later, my hair is a bright orangeish yellow with white streaks. It looked terrible. I told her as she started to blow dry my hair that it looked way too yellow, and there was no dimension in it, which I had specifically asked for. She then said that she would put another toner on it, but I refused, already afraid of the condition of my hair after 2 hours of bleach and toner. Stupidly, I paid the $154 for the "services" and went on my way. After getting home and looking in the mirror, I was disgusted. My hair had been pretty and healthy before, but now it looked like a big yellow wig. It was hideous. I cried my eyes out to my husband for a while, and then called Regis. The stylist that did my hair answered the phone. I asked to speak to the manager, but they were not there. I explained to her that I was not happy with my hair, and that it was nothing like what I had asked for. She told me to come in the next day, and she would fix it. I thought long and hard about it that night, and decided that I didn't trust Regis to "correct" my hair, as they were the ones that messed it up in the first place. I went to the salon when they opened up the next day, and explained that I wanted a refund in lieu of a "re-do". The stylist went to get another (older) stylist, and she explained that I could not be given a refund because the manager was not there. I told them that it was unacceptable, and they needed to call the manager. The old fat lady was super rude, and basically told me no. I kept insisting that they call their manager. Finally, they called, and couldn't get a hold of him. (I believe the managers name was Shawn). Anyway, the stylists spoke to Shawn and told him that I had contacted Corporate, and he said that since I had called corporate, I'd have to get a refund from them. I told him that was unacceptable, as I had only left a message with corporate, not actually spoken with anyone. They stylists continued to tell me that company policy did not allow refunds, which I knew was BS, because they had mentioned something about a "customer refund" form that they couldn't find. I asked them why it was necessary to have a refund form if they didn't allow refunds. The older stylist was really rude and said that the refund form was for styling products, not salon services. I stayed calm the entire time, and told the stylists that I would be on the phone with the police, news channels, AND the better business bureau if I wasn't given a refund immediately. I guess that was all it took, as I was asked to fill out the refund form. They entered my refund information into the computer, and attempted to give me my $154 back in cash. I paid with a credit card, and wanted the refund applied back to my credit card. The younger stylist told me that they couldn't do that, but the older stylist said they could. The older stylist then had to redo the refund and apply my refund to my credit card. She then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted the tip refunded as well. Hell yes I want the tip back, as a tip is for GOOD service, it is not something that you're guaranteed... I was refunded the entire amount onto my card (well, we'll see when the statement comes if my money REALLY got refunded)... I did end up giving the girl that f***ed up my hair a $10 cash tip though, I felt a little sorry for her, BUT she should have known what she was doing. I would have GLADLY paid $154 if my hair would have turned out the way I asked for it too.... but it looked like crap. I went for a consultation at another salon to fix what Regis effed up. I will NEVER go to another Regis salon again... Total nightmare... I wish I would have gotten the name of the old fat mean stylist that was so rude to me... But I didn't. She had short butchy spiky hair... The girl that messed my hair up name was Mallory... Don't go to this salon!!!!!!
