Food there is fabulous. True excellence in Italian Cuisine and atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.
Seating is slightly crowded but the ambiance, food, and hospitality more than compensates. Besides it should be crowded since it is so magnifico.
If you go to only one restaurant in the area then make it this place - you will not be disappointed

Their bolognese sauce is literally one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. The service is also really good and personal. Def recommend it!
5This is by far, my favorite restaurant in Montgomery County. I like the ambiance, it is relaxing and sets the mood for my wife and me. My usual is the Lobster Ravioli, or Chicken Parmesan, and of course, the dessert the lobster tail dessert are delicioso. If I could go there everyday, I would.....

There is too much to type to be quite honest about Caruso. I will say this; my fianc and i, Went t celebrate our engagement. We did not even tell the server that's why we were there. It was hands down the best restaurant experience we have ever had in Souderton.
Everything, and I mean everything was perfect! The food, the service, the ambiance.

The eggplant appetizer was delish.I had the hand made Twisted pasta with Scallops. Although incredible my friend got the roasted chicken Florentine, veal braciola (not listed on this menu) and his was completely out of this world.
5Caruso's features authentic Italian cuisine with influence that leans toward the Neapolitan region and features homemade pastas, veal dishes, and fresh seafood specialties. Received great service. Food was done just right. This restaurant doesn't disappoint!"??
5The food was excellent and service was great. Sounds silly, but I've never had such amazing pesto oil on my bread in my life! The suggestions given were wonderful!
5The experience as a whole was outstanding. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere and wait staff were accomodating and amendable. The family Dining style gave variety and good food. I had used this as my proposal dinner for my now wife.
5Happened to be in Souderton and found this gem. Food and service were both excellent. Special Features: Veal Chop Marsala.
5"Food was excellent as always. This restaurant makes my trips to Souderton special. We had a wonderful time with top-notch service once agian. Although it was a busy Wed., night and my party of four came in a half hour late, the host was gracious, I can always hit another restaurant but there's no other like Caruso."

The food is magnificent and the service is great. I have been going at Caruso's since the first open and never had a problem.
4This small restaurant is supremely charming with wonderful simple food. Everything is worth eating. An absolute must!
5We were in Souderton for my son's Birthday and he wanted to go to Caruso's. We had a party of 15, and although the place is tiny, they accommodated us beautifully. We had a great celebration. The food was fabulous (don't miss the Homemade Manicotti) and the service top-knotch.

We all loved it. The waitress was amazing! She knew everything on the menu without looking. She helped us get everything we wanted and was just unbelievable.
When you go at Caruso ask for Kim.
We were pleasantly greeted & taken to our table.
The waitress suggested to try the homemade pasta and was outstanding, my girl friend had Lemon chicken dish also very good.
the owner was very nice and suggested to try the homemade italian cheese cake.
We will be back soon.

Service is very professional and leaves you feeling good, the food is authentic Italian food and no frozen or cooked by some Mexican that try to cook Italian.
4I love this place. The food is fantastic. The service is really quick. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is nice. My favorite is the Spaghetti Carbonara.
5've eaten here over a dozen times and I still love it as much as the first. If you're going to dine here, get the scallops arrabbiata. I was here last night and the place was packed (on a tuesday!). they don t take reservation but they will put you name on a guest list that will seat you before any walkins. Awesome awesome!!! Five stars all the way.

Pros: great food
Caruso's has wonderful Italian cuisine and the atmosphere in the downstairs dining room is wonderful. The service was excellent as well. If you have the chance to try it you will not be disappointed!
5I don't venture up to Souderton often, I had the opportunity the other night and was given the recommendation to try Caruso's. I'm always on the look out for good BYO's, especially in out of the way places.I have to say the food was delicious, fresh and filling. The atmosphere was also really comfortable with a nice attention to detail. I loved the art work on the walls of famous Italians and the staircase in the middle of the restaurant with dinning below was unique and interesting. My date and I sat at a two top which was actually a little too big and at times I could hear her. It is a loud room, but that could be due to the open kitchen. Visually it was very pleasing. The service was fine. Unobtrusive, attending and friendly. Food, drink, and checks were delivered in a timely manner. Of course there were only 2 other tables sat by the time we got there. The food was excellent, especially considering I was expecting more of a pizza atmosphere. I'm not sure if the bread basket was fresh but the oil and herbs served with it was good. I started with the cream of mushroom which was more oily than creamy, but that is way the soup should be. My date had the Cesear salad which was fresh and exploding with flavor. The dressing was obviously home made and served on the side. Excellent dressing, and the quality was amazing. For dinner I had the chicken Marsala. The sauce was perfect, not overwrought with cream. The pasta is made on site and you can tell. The mushrooms were fresh, bite sized and did not over come the rest of the dish like other Marsallas do. The chicken was very good, well tenderized. My date had the Shrimp Scampi which was also very good. The shrimp were large and flavorful. Again, homemade pasta was delicious with a wonderful garlic sauce, not overbearing. Just delicate enough.Negatives: 1) Even with only 2 other tables sat it was difficult to have a conversation. Either it is the acoustics or the size of the 2 top tables. 2) No fresh ground pepper? It's little touches like that which get a 5th star in my book 3) No web site. Look it's almost 2010. I believe a website is worth the investment. It would be nice to know specials, menu, etc.. ahead of time.Overall this was a pleasant surprise as I wasn't expecting much in Souderton, this was a gem.

I go every fridays with my family, they have an accordian player, the food and service is great and prices are good.
Try the homemade pasta with scallops and arrabbiata sauce, our friday experience is always wonderful.
thank you guys.
This is a great italian place in the heart of Souderton. This to me is just as good if not better than some of the big chain italian places. The interior of Caruso's is so nice, you wouldn't expect it from looking at the outside. The portion sizes are great, i usually take food home. Their bread and oil are delicious! The prices are reasonable for the food that you are getting and the service is great!

Caruso's is such a great restaurant! I go there every chance I get. The decor is great, and the place is always hopping! It is a BYOB, and on multiple occasions my girlfriends and I go through a bottle of wine sitting and chatting at this great place. The service is wonderful as well.

We stopped here a few weeks ago and were blown away by the atmosphere inside such a small place. From outside, it looks rather small, but once you get in the dining room, it just opens up. It has a warm cozy feel, but you aren't sitting on top of each other.
The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. You can watch the employees work together and tell that everyone has a blast at work. The prices are reasonable as well.
