Bicycle Stable

Bicycle Stable takes its name from the adorable standalone former horse stable in which it's housed. The building was bought at auction and rehabbed by the owner, Chaz.

Chaz often staffs the store, and has only a few employees. He's no-nonsense, and self-respecting. He once refused to do a tune-up on an old schwinn I had because the frame was slightly cracked ("unsafe," he said), but more to the point -- he said the bike wasn't worth paying for a tune-up!

I have never been in a bike shop where I feel more trust for the work being done. They're honest, they know what they're talking about, and won't cut corners.

Most importantly, Chaz seized my stolen bike (which I purchased there) from some neighborhood kids who took it, and called me to give it back. Rock on.
