I bought my last ride at Smaltz's. I was so impressed with the level of knowledge and friendliness at this dealership that I am sure I found my new Harley home. My salesperson was nothing short of exceptional. I wanted some customization to personalize it to my tastes and again the level of knowledge and helpfulness offered to me was second to none. The end result exceeded my expectations.I' have been to Harley dealers across this great country and especially in this area but this one stands out by a mile if you want first class. Couldn't be happier and I'm no soft sell.

I just got my bike back from here after dropping it off for service. This dealership will NEVER see me again! I dropped the bike off a day early. It took two days after the scheduled service date for them to call me and report the problems they found. I authorized the repairs in that same call. 4 days later I called to check on status and they said they were "working on it now" and that it would be completed by the weekend. Two days later they called and said they discovered additional issues with the bike that were "missed" at first, even though that was supposed to be an "extensive" first inspection. I authorized those repairs and was told that I'd be "riding by the weekend". That was a Thursday. On Monday I finally called them and was told the bike was finally done. At this point, they have had the bike for 2 full weeks. I picked the bike up today. They said they has cleaned it, but the rims weren't cleaned, even though they took them both off for the repairs (brake work). The CB antena was not hooked up/ installed, which was one of the repairs I had requested. The invoice show the repair "complete" but when I asked I was told - for the first time - that they didn't have the parts and had just rigged the radio antenna for the time being. Why nobody bothered to mention this during the two weeks they had the bike is beyond me. Total service bill was over $2100. Total technician time was about 8-10 hours. How it took two weeks to complete 10 hours of repairs was never explained. Bottom line is they didn't do what they said they did, didn't do what they said they were going to do; didn't keep me informed on progress (or lack); and didn't complete the repairs when they said they would. Overpromising and underdelivering is NOT a recipe for success. I will take my busines elsewhere, even though other dealerships are significantly less convenient.

Harley is the Best but Smaltz is over the top. Stretch was an amazing guy! The service department goes out of their way for everyone and the sales people are great to work with. They also do some wonderful bike runs. The POW run is breath taking.
