Me and my family have a sweet spot for Santucci's! We lived in Philly until 2000 where we moved to NJ. We come over the river to taste their declious pizza because the pizza over here is fair not but good. Now people may see this and write something competely different but I still say it's great pizza!

Use to really enjoy their pizza and thought it was treat when I was younger. But, unfortunately, things have changed here. Not sure if under new managment but the quality has suffered. OK for a quick bite but there are better pizza places nearby.

I can eat almost any kind of pizza - even Elio's frozen. Santucci's is not horrible, but it's not good. Even though the crust was thin, it was not well baked. It had a very gummy interior. (Ovens not hot enough?) Then, the style. They put the cheese on the bread and the sauce on the top. The cheese was viturally tasteless. You didn't even know it was there. My guess is that they use some type of cheep commercial product that is mostly cheese subsitute.
As to the sauce - thin and equally tasteless. No sign whatsoever of tomatoes. Just a red liquid thinly over the top.
If you want real pizza you have to go either to Brooklyn or to Carlino's in Ardmore.
But if you're just hungry then - what the heck!
