First off I would like to say you need to stay away from all of their propertys. I moved to Philly in December of 2010 and we had three days to find a place. We decided to go with Keystone Lofts which are owned by Liss Property. Jason and Jordan run this company and they make plenty from ripping people off. We moved into apt 201 and had so many problems with leaks and noise. There was a lady who sub leased her apt out for parties and porn shoots. So there was noise 24/7. We complained all the time and they wanted us to move to a different loft so we found one we liked and moved in. One month later they moved a man in that had to move because his neighbors were complaining he was too loud. So we complained again and they did nothing. Finally we called the cops at 2 oclock in the morning because his move was so loud it woke both of my chidlren up the floors are just wood on wood so you can hear a cloth drop and people wispering the walls are just drywall on drywall so you can hear anything. Finally the cops told him to shut the hell up and turn off his tv. Things started to get better with the noise. Then, we received our electric bill for the summer and it was 800 for two months. At this point after begging for a new ac for months they gave us one but summer was already over with. We decided to move to another loft because of our neighbor kept smoking pot and it was coming through the walls and filling up our house (not good for my two children) The other loft was nice and our neighbor had a job so he was gone most of the time. At this point we were happy until I moved in and had to spend two days cleaning up after the property manager and his little helper. They laid tile down and left grout all over the place. They cleaned their tools in the sink so a month after all of this my sink got clogged and it took them 4 days to send someone out to fix it. I was so mad because I was washing my dishes in the tub (not fun to do and not safe). After that happened the lady that sub leased her apt tried running my dog and myself over in the parking lot. I had a witness who told police what happened and Liss property had a video of the whole thing. They did nothing about it. I couldnt file charges because my husband (whom works for the government) got a job transfer out of state, so it was pointless. When we left we returned the place in better condition then what was givin to us. My husband even put a washer and dryer connection in it (300 dollars worth of work). We just recieved out security deposit back and half was gone for painting and cleaning carpets. Fist off the carpet where horrible when we moved in, I mean stains everywhere, rips, burn marks, patches, and the carpet needed streching because it was coming up everywhere. They charged us 547 for all of that. This place will do nothing about fixing anything, taking care of noisy neighbors anything. They will take your money and that is it. Also in the lease it stated NO PITBULLS but everyone that had a dog had one. Someone was even bit but nothing was done. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFTY OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

BEWARE of FALSE ADVERTISING.....There is no SPARKLING Pool, the pool hasn't been uncovered in the two seasons I was there although you pay for it in your water bill that they controll and inflate to be twice that of what I have paid at other Phila rentals. And should you like trailer park style living, well then this place is for you! The dumpsters are usually decorated with former move outs furniture and mattresses and such, in plain view of course so your guests will know you've chosen a "Quality" place to live! And the Pit Bulls that are tethered at the front doors or just allowed to roam without a leash as Marnie in the office says that's just the way it is...TOO BAD! This is her way of with the issues at hand, she is very good to loose your paper work and be sure to get your pet on the lease as Marnie will be calling in a couple months to charge you yet again for another pet deposit. Oh and the "NEW" kitchens and baths....my unit Kitchen was never completed...I lived the first few months with out a stove and microwave because the cracked out property manager was too busy getting high! He was later removed by police for his Meth habbit....QUALITY EMPLOYEES! and just to think he had keys to my apt. Shame on me for being a better than most tennant as I guess they are used to using the collection agency to remedy the mistakes that Marnie makes when she doesn't record all your deposits. and they must be made by money orders so that it is harder for you to track! Friends, don't make the same mistake I did, when I met with Bill Liss in the begining I should have followed my gut feelings as he was quick to put pressure on when I wanted more time to think about renting here, he said the rental priced increase the next day if I had passed on filling out the application that day.....Shady dealings! My advise to you is to RUN! Your worth a better landlord than LISS PROPERTY GROUP And Marnie ... TOO BAD! Thats just the way it is!
