One of my co-workers was given a $100 gift certificate to Mantra a week before it expired, so he decided to take a few people out the day before it went bad. We got there and had a few beers and picked off the appetizers and everything was good. We had some sushi, some calamari, and mussels; none of it disappointed. We were there during happy hour, so the beer was affordable at the time as well. A good stop, but nothing spectacular.

Do not go here. My boyfriend & I dine out anywhere from 2-4x/wk and I've never had such a miserable experience at a restaurant in Philadelphia. We arrived for an early dinner on a Saturday night and was first told they had no light beer

Listening to "Darkest Day" by Nemo, eating a small bowl of Red Miso soup with Tofu & Nori ($7) it's a nice vibe. There's three floors to this establishment and the decorum is like Buddhis poetry but with modernity. They have a full menu and nice space for private parties I've been here a couple time before for Happy Hour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I recommend this for the "In Crowd" and for those just falling in love.

Frank, the bartender, is aways at the ready to serve and accomodate.

Every month I plan an event for my office. Being that Mantra looks so cool with the big picture window, I checked it out three times to see if that could be a potential spot for the next event. \r

The service was terrible every. Single.

I was a part of a large dinner party that went here, and goodness, what a waste of money. The "crispy" pot-stickers were not at all cooked correctly - nor were they cooked properly as they should be (slightly browned and crispy as the menu
