This place is AWEFUL!!!!! I will never go there again and do NOT recommend anyone else does. We cancelled our first appointment because their printer was down and we didn't want to go back due to the 50 min+ drive from home. Luckily they called in time that we hadn't left yet. So, I ended up rescheduling for a Saturday at 11:40. They were quite busy when we arrived, so I expected a little wait. We waited for over an hour before they took us in to get our pictures done!! I have a very patient (thank goodness) 2 1/2 year old daughter we wanted pictures of. This was after we were told "about 10 more minutes" once we were already there for 1/2 an hour. It was ridiculous and absurd!!! Not to mention the fact that I heard one of the employees tell someone on the phone that "We are all booked for 10 a.m. [on whatever day she was looking for], but I can put you in at 9:50." When I brought this up to the woman at the front desk while I was inquiring about the long wait and complaining that they must have overbooked for me to have such a wait, she said that a 9:50 appointment wouldn't delay the "booked up" 10 o'clock slot. I wonder how this could be when they say each sitting "takes about 20 minutes." This is why I had such a long, long wait!!!! They OVERBOOK!! Then to top it off, we told them specifically what we wanted for pictures and they tried to get us to do all sorts of different poses that we didn't want. By this point, we were not only hungry, but my daughter was getting tired as it was about her nap time. While we got some good shots, we certainly didn't get any "great" shots. I was totally unimpressed with the photographer. I was also disappointed in the packages they had to offer as the only reasonably priced one was the special one pose package. They try to get you to buy everything under the sun! Fortunately, we are not people who fall for that CRAP! While we were hoping on getting a family portrait and an individual of my daughter, we only wound up purchasing a family package. When I picked up the pictures and made my voice heard about the poor quality of their service, I mentioned wanting a single pose without a big package and was told that I could in fact buy just one sheet - not something I was offered by the photographer!!! I did not inquire further because at this point I was simply irate at the fact that it had now been 2 hours since my appointment time and not only did I have places to go, but I certainly was not going to give them any more of my time or $$$. I repeat, DO NOT go there!!!

I know from experience working in customer service that most things can't be helped... waits, messes, and unhappy people.
What should be kept in mind when taking little ones to portrait innovations is that not every child smiles and sits still... therefore it takes the photographer longer to try and get YOU a great picture. Remember you are going to get portraits done.. so remember to be patient. As for the superb long waits... what do you think everyone else is doing? Everyone wants a great picture and everyone is indecisive picking them out, ensuring a longer delay... next time you are there.. or any establishment in general.. and count how many people are working. and then think to yourself.. is there really anything they can do while trying to help the mass of people in the studio?
As for my experience.. it was great. My son is very shy and needs some time to warm up... Our photographer was very warming and did her best to ease his trust, and he finally did warm up. The pictures were awesome. I was very happy with them, and the price was reasonable. Granted i waited a little bit.. I still had no problem. I'm a patient person, and i saw how many others had appointments as well as myself. I saw a woman go up to their front desk, and after she heard what the wait time was, she made a sceen and left with her daughter... I felt embarrassed for her.

This company overbooks and makes your child wait for pictures even though you set up an appt time. We traveled there twice and left both times unsatisfied. Spoke with customer service mgr and she spoke with vice president which they were reluctant to give me a $10 gas card for my time. So we are going to sears instead!!!

I had a horrible experience! I was warned by several friends not to go there, but I'd been there before and, despite a minimal wait, got beautiful pics! I didn't listen and WHAT A MISTAKE! I had a 130 appt and had not had pics even taken yet at 3pm! There were others still there from 1100 appt who had their pics taken BUT were still waiting to VIEW the pics! So, basically, if you can tolerate a 2 hr wait to have pic taken, 2 hr wait to view pics and another hour or probably 2 to pick up pics, then go for it! Otherwise, STAY AWAY! Oh, and that's if they don't lose your pics (as they did with a friend of mine and she had to do the shoot over again) or the camera breaks(another friend and she, too, had to do the shoot again) or the printer breaks, as it did when I was there! I left after 2 hrs without even havin my pics taken of my 3 SMALL CHILDREN! I WOULDN'T GO BACK EVEN IF THE PICTURES WERE FREE!!!!!!

I had an appointment at 5:30 pm.When I arrived ten minutes early I was told that I would have to wait two hours to be seen. I have a nine month old so a two hour wait is impossible. I cancelled my appointment and will never return again.

I have been taking my children to Portrait Innovations in Center Valley for 6 yrs now and have never had such a bad experience as I did recently. We had an appointment for 4:40 AND DIDN'T GET OUT OF THERE UNTIL 8:55. It took an hour and 40 minutes to get out pictures taken, then we had to wait almost an hour just to view the pitures. The place was filthy, food all over the floor, and the bathrooms were unexceptable. Don't think I will be returning there.

Terrible experience. Could not use my gift card for $75 on a $50 purchase because the bill had to be higher than the gift card. They were not helpful and basically acted like all control over purchasing is out of their hands. Long wait despite having an appointment and getting there 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. I do have to say the pictures turned out good.
