On June 23, 2007, we hired Always Perfect Studios Photography for photography services for our wedding in November 2007 in NY. We hired them at the David's Bridal Store in Westbury, NY. We paid a $2,929.66 fee in three payments of $976.55, $976.55, and $976.56 on June 23, 2007, October 1, 2007, and November 1, 2007 for the services.

Their photographer named Peter was at our wedding and took our photographs. On January 8, 2008, we received a CD containing the digital proofs from the wedding. Unfortunately, the CD was missing a large number of invaluable photographs. For example, there are no (zero) photographs of us at our ceremony and every family portrait Peter took during our cocktail hour for 90+ minutes is not included.

After numerous certified letters, phone calls, and complaints, we didn't make progress. Always Perfect was extremely unprofessional. David's Bridal, who allows Always Perfect to have sales desks in their Spring Valley, Middletown, Yonkers, Westbury, and Lake Grove, NY locations also washed their hands of this situation. They should strongly reconsider associating themselves with a company who exhibits such a gross lack of customer service. We ended up filing complaints with the PA Attorney General, Montgomery County Dept of Consumer Affairs (in PA where their corp office is located), the BBB, CEO's office of David's Bridal, the ripoff report, planetfeedback, complaints com, consumerist com, and our credit card company, and got most of our $ back from American Express. Atrocious company. Do not use under any circumstances.

I am going to be suing as well. That's if I do not get my order in it's entirety as promised and paid for. I certainly do not need David's Bridal non chalantly sending me a letter telling that they have no affiliation with the company. I went with Always Perfect Studios because they were backed and centered within David's Bridal. A leading name in the wedding industry and multi billion dollar company. They pushed their merchandise and even though they did not have a crystal ball and wasn't able to predict the economy...I certainly do not need a letter (after I had already spoken with someone at David's Bridal Corporate who assured me she would do her best to help ) then rather answer my email concerns weeks later, she briefly mentions she sent me a generated letter of what the situation is...basically saying... "SORRY WE CAN'T HELP YOU" no way man. No way!

And as for Always Perfect Studios. If you take people's money and represent yourself a certain way and take pictures for someone's wedding day DON'T YOU THINK YOU COULD DO THE RIGHT THING AND SEND US OUR STUFF. At this point I couldn't even care if it's incomplete just please do not rob me of my money and then leave me with nothing to remember my wedding day by. I am heartbroken as I am sure so many other brides and grooms are, as well as angry. This is a plea....please send us our things that we paid for. So we are not left with nothing. If I don't get a response by february I am going to have to go with my lawyer.

From reading the reviews guess I will be moving on to the next stage which is litigation. Everyone's story sounds the same. We got married in November and I will not be waiting for a year like some people have done. If we do not receive what we contracted for by the end of February we will be pursuing litigation.

I was told by David's Bridal that they are working to resolve this but I will not wait forever. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. After such a great wedding this is the last thing we need.

It took one year for me to get my Thank you cards and I was embarrased to even send them out. They are a nightmare. They don't even return phone calls or emails. I read some of your revirews and thought i was reading my own story. Our wedding was Aug 23, 2008 (our photographer Rocco, was horrible, took nice pics but seemed like he was on drugs all day). We recieved our disk with in a few weeks, and our selectiones we sent in by Thanksgiving. In May, they finally sent me a digital album to approve, which i did that day. Then we got into August with no word from anyone, and then Mike had the nerve to tell me I never submitted my approval. Since it was all done by E-mail, I e-mailed him back our 5 e-mail communications.... Needless to say it is November and we still have nothing. Since Aug. Mike and Sam from central office have not even returned my phone calls. Mike actually hung up on me at one point. So last week I went to the Westbury NY store and met with Bob. I went solo, didnt bring my husband, because i just wanted to talk to this guys nicley to see if anything could get done. He promised me he would take care of everything, and now, he is not returning my phonecalls. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO! We already paid in full, and i dont have anything to show for it. What I dont understand is how a store such as davids bridal could allow such terrible buissness to run out of there show rooms. It is beyond comprehendable as to how these men could have a company that is still in buisness. Mike, Sam and know Bob are the most obnoxious, condecending, rude, liers I have ever dont buisness with ...after I get my albums, video and pictures I hope they get shut down.

I am going on 7 months without having them when I was conveniently told 5 - 5 1/2 months when I booked them initially. I called on 8/13 and asked about the status and was told they would be shipped out on with Monday/Tuesday (8/17 or 8/18) and that I should receive them on Friday 8/21. No pictures. I called again today and was told that they will be shipped out tomorrow and I should get them on Friday. Mike who I spoke with and who is beyond obnoxious and rude AND who was also the same person that told me they would be mailed out last week would not give me a straight forward answer as to why I still have not received them. When I asked him why he told me they would be shipped out last week he acted as if he did not say it. Please spend the extra money and get quality. These people are just horrible people with no personality. Its sad.

DON'T USE ALWAYS PERFECT!!!!!!

They don't deserve 1 star. Here is the list of our complaints:
1. Did not follow the very important list of poses we were told to pick
2. Did not listen to the bride at all
3. Didn't take a family photo
4. Refused to take pictures in the gardens
5. Complained about too much light and not enough light. He was a real professional.
6. Did not take a picture of us walking into the reception hall.
7. Did not take any pictures of our first dance (lasted 2 minutes and was an actual dance) and we made sure we told him too
8. Didn't bother fixing anybody's poses
9. He took 800 pics instead of 1000
10. Didn't get a good picture of us cutting the cake
11. Was not creative at all with our poses
12. The lighting in 90% of the pictures is horrible.

Does management care? Not at all. Spend some extra money and get a good photographer. DON'T USE ALWAYS PERFECT!!!!!!

My husband and I were contacted from Almost Perfect Studios to service our future wedding in June of 2010. On May 30, 2009, we met with Bob not expecting to sign anything or go into an agreement with Almost Perfect. However, Bob assured us that if for some reason we changed our mind or found someone a bit more reasonable, he would have no problem extending us a credit. On June 8, 2009, we sent in a fax to cancel our contract due to finding someone more reasonably priced with great recommendations and received confirmation. Both my husband and I attempted to call the main office as well as Bob's cell phone, we never heard back from them. We personally visited the David's Bridal in Westbury, NY on June 12, 2009 to speak with Bob and after showing him all documentation and letting him know we never received a call back, he told us we were supposed to cancel within 2 days. There was no apology for not returning calls. After explaining that the reason for signing when we were skeptical was because he assured us that we'd receive a credit, he told us that he would find out and call us on Monday, June 13, 2009. We haven't heard anything back. My husband and I submitted a credit dispute with our credit card company and apparently Almost Perfect Studios does business under a different name, they have no website and are not listed with the better business. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Their photographer was at our wedding and took our photographs. On 1/8/08 we received a CD containing the digital proofs from the wedding. Unfortunately, the CD was missing a large number of invaluable photographs. Due to making no progress via the phone, we were forced to send a certified letter, return receipt to their office which was delivered the week of 1/21/08. After they received the letter their office informed us that Always Perfect?s camera?s memory card malfunctioned during our wedding, the memory card the camera utilized was mailed back to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer stated they were unable to retrieve the complete set of photographs.

We were informed that Always Perfect would be willing to:

a) Take new family photographs, and
b) Create albums using digital photographs our guests took at the wedding.

Our view is Always Perfect?s proposal is unacceptable. There are multiple reasons for this as you may imagine. That said, we had to send Always Perfect Studios a second letter certified return receipt highlighting our formal response to their proposal again due to inaction via the phone. We believe Always Perfect was grossly negligent in allowing this situation to occur. There's no equipment testing or backup equipment as specified on their website?

ue to this situation, we requested a full refund of the fee we paid. We requested the refund and a formal response via USPS certified mail. We never received a formal response. We've now filed disputes with numerous consumer protection agencies and our credit card. Avoid this company at all costs!
