It's a little stuffy, but the same owners as Noche and Drinker's. Really close to Rittenhouse Square. Outside area available in the summer, which is always a bonus.

Loie is the place to dance all night long with some of the most fun clientele in Rittenhouse. There are DJs all weekend and they have started to get a really strong Thursday dance crowd in addition to a DJ. Dinner here is delicious and very reasonable so if the late night crowd is not your thing, get there to fill your stomach with Contemporary American food. Overall Loie has not lost any of the appeal of it's earlier days and in fact has just gotten better.

I love Loie. It is a bar and restaurant right off Rittenhouse square. It is known for its salads and burgers. Delicious. The decor is really nice. There is an amazing chandelier. I highly recommend.

I just hosted a private party for about 30 people and everything was amazing!! The food was perfect, and staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for networking and relaxing. I had so much fun I came back a week later for dinner and drinks and was again super pleased with both the food and the happy hour drink specials. Definitely a place to check out if you're in Rittenhouse!!

Great sunday brunch. I have only eaten there for sunday brunch, but I have been there latenight for dancing which is also a fun time. You really can't beat the $25 prix fixe for 2-course brunch with all-you-can-drink mimosas and/or bloody marys. I would definitely recommend it for sunday mornings and late nights out drinking and dancing.

I stopped in to Loie for dinner last week and was pleasantly surprised. I had heard about it more for its nightlife than its food but the place was great! Food was delicious, service was very attentive and the atmospehere itself was a great escape from the cold weather. I definitely recommend as a good date spot.

I didn't even know Loie served lunch. I have only been there on the weekends for their nightlife, so I was surprised when I passed by on my lunchbreak and I saw people eating outside. My friend and I decided to try it out. I had an amazing burger and she had a salad, which I could tell she liked since her plate was basically licked clean.
I recommend stopping by at any hour you are in the neighborhood. Good food and drinks and friendly staff.

I had my bachelorette party here on Saturday and it was unforgettable! We had great girlie drink specials, champaigne, food and the DJ kept us dancing all night. We ended up going back the next morning for Sunday Brunch which was amazing as well!

I found out about Loie at the Zoobilee a few months ago, after taste testing their sandwich, I had to try the rest of the menu. Loie amazes me everytime I drop in for a visit. Not only is it a beautiful place to sit and relax, the drinks are reasonable, the food is outstanding and the service is welcoming. I would recommend Loie to anyone who enjoys different food and a nice atmosphere.

Loie's atmosphere and food has changed a little recently. They new menu is amazing. The grilled steak tartine was so good and the desserts (yes I tried more than one) were delicious! They have a great room upstairs that opens up on the Friday and Saturday nights as sort of a lounge with another bar! Love that they still have their great Sunday brunch deal too. Can't wait until the warm weather when you get to sit outside.

After a great day at a Spa we had dinner at this great restaurant. We were very impressed with both the service and the quality of food. Philly is really becoming a mini-New York with great restaurants, and this is certainly one of them.

Four of us, for dinner last night, three bottles of fabulous voignier, a fantastic server who took her time and didn't rush us or make us feel uncomfortable even when we were waiting for our fourth guest,--even when they were breaking out the dance floor...they just remodeled in May and the place looks great! Roasted chicken breasts were amazing, flavorful and so tender!--Mussels were changed up from what they used to have but it was immense and yummy--although it could have been an appetizer to share amongst four rather than an entree (too much mussels)....mushroom burger was cooked just the way my friend wanted, pomme frites are great--a MUST TRY is the Lobster Gnocci appetizer, it was so good, we had to order a second to share...we also got the fried oyster salad--fresh oysters not too much batter, And last but not least, tuna entree, delicious but you can get this dish anywhere--go for the gnocci or the hanger steak,-or the chicken breasts. For four people, 3 apps, 4 entrees and 3 bottles of great wine, the bill was $240 with 20% gratuity.--The manager came over so many times to make sure everything was great...--And it was!

My husband and I went to Loie for brunch on Sunday, and while it wasn't terribly busy, but the service was terrible. First of all, it took a long time to even get water and a menu. Moreover, my quiche arrived ice cold! When I ordered a simple pastry thereafter, it didn't arrive for another half hour, at which time my husband had completely finished his brunch. We had to beg for coffee refills. It was a very bad experience - from customer service to food.

So I ate at Loie ... appearently it is not just a nightclub. I went with a couple of friends last week and we shared some appetizers and they were all delicious! The lobster gnocchi are to die for not to mention the honey dijon truffle wings and the egg tartine. I'm definitely going back to try some more of the dishes on the menu.

Loie, a twist on the traditional Parisian brasserie, is a decadent respite for dinner and drinks surrounded by art nouveau inspired decor providing a beautiful backdrop for sipping cocktails and enjoying French cuisine from Chef Jeremy Duclut. Nightly DJs and the spirit of the illustrious Loie Fuller, the Chicago based dancer turned Paris sweetheart, ensconce the warm and inviting room. Loie is beauty personified, both aesthetically and literally, with Rittenhouse Squares trendy clientele. The crowd is decidedly European in style and grace, bringing back a taste of the Riviera. The temperature rises as DJ'S spin Rock N' Roll, alternative, dance and more.

I took a few visiting friends there for dinner one saturday and had an awful experience. Service was extremely slow, so slow that when dessert time came, the dj had started, the music was turned up and the lights completely out. We requested candles or to be moved to a lighted booth, but neither requests were accomodated, on top of that, our desserts took another 30 minutes to arrive. Our aloof server and the completely oblivious management made the night a real joke. We spent 2 hours there, about 1.5 hours just waiting for the food, and about a 1/3 of the time literally in the dark. Completely indecent and just stupid.

My wife & I stopped into Loie on a recent Saturday and had a great time. It was a beautiful night out and the windows were open adding a cool breeze to the relaxed & casual decor. We grabbed 2 seats at the bar (get there early, however, because this place filled up quick & the yuppie vultures were circling). I had a great chicken salad panini made with brie cheese and apples served w/fries while my wife had hanger steak skewers which came with greens (off their low carb menu). The food was delicious, the service was great and it is a nice place to stop in for a bite or a drink without the Rouge/Bleu snobbery. When the DJ starts up at 10 PM I would guess that this small place would get way too crowded so stop by early and enjoy!

3.15.04 10 pm. Tonight my wife and I chose to have a special night out for her birthday at Loie, a place we have frequented since it opened. All was fine, food good, servers and bartenders very accommodating. UNTIL a bus boy LITERALLY took our chairs form under us! I asked the "Manager" (same guy we saw drinking shots of "Jagermeister"), why are we forced to leave? He shrugged his shoulders, turned to a server, and said "give them the check". I asked WHY? We haven't even had desert?! The response was that they were having a DJ and they needed the space!!! I WILL NEVER GO TO LOIE EVER AGAIN AND WILL FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARD CURSE THE WORD LOIE TO ANY AND ALL OF MY ASSOCIATES, FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES.

Despite the burgeoning crowd of trendoids steadily filling the front bar, Loie manages to provide fantastic bistro fare for relatively reasonable prices in charming though spartan decor. My lover and I went with the intention of eating prix fixe for restaurant week, but instead decided to order from the regular menu. The seared Atlantic salmon was fantastic and fresh, served on a bed of succulently tasty lentils and asparagus, and garnished with three good, if bland, clams on the shell. My lover had the lentil and walnut burger, which was very good, if also a bit bland (can no restaurant put more effort into vegetarian entrees?). Our appetizer, mushroom risotto beignets, was a taste explosion of goodness; unfortunately, the apple tart tatin dessert was exceedingly disappointing. For the quality of food (except dessert), Loie is more than worth the price and the hassle of post-frat business jocks blocking the doorways.

My wife and I had dinner at Loie with some friends of ours a few weeks ago. We each got different entrees, and they were uniformly excellent. I had the duck, and it was tremendous; easily as good as the duck at Brasserie Perrier. The monkfish was cooked to perfection as well. The waiter was knowledgeable, pleasant, and unobtrusive. The ambience left something to be desired--if you eat late enough, the crowd at the bar becomes a little rowdy and the DJ starts spinning, but it's really no big deal when you consider how great, and relatively inexpensive, the food is. I've been to many of the "top" restaurants in Philadelphia, but Loie is easily the best value for money.

If i were to use one word to describe this place, it would be "sucks"! The crowd conists of a loud and irritating bunch of moronic, loud, aging, poser, hipster wannabes. There's an excessively rude bouncer on weekends, and the decor is absolutely unoriginial and gives the place the same ambiance as the diner around the corner. Outdoor seating is less-than-adequate due to the miniscule and crowded sidewalk. I'm definitely not coming back.

This restaurant was wonderful. Everything from the staff to the decor and the FOOD was scrumptious. Bistro style and very Parisian but inexpensive. Its reminiscent of the adorable bistros from the Latin Quarter in Paris but with a better clientele. This restaurant should have been rated higher! It's fun and a great place to come with friends or on a first date. My boyfriend and I have been to most of the best restaurants in PhillyI cant wait to take him to Loie.I know hell love it!
