Just off Walnut on the second floor of a commercial building, the salon intertior itself is elegant, with a minimalist waiting room, polite receptionist, and a refreshing open-concept space for the styling, cutting and washing stations. Colour is applied while you sit around a big table, giving the experience a casual, retro social quality. I walked in about 3 minutes late, and my appointment started right away. I got overall colour and a short cut with Heather and was very pleased with the result. Heather is chatty and very friendly, as well as forthcoming about technical information and products, so I got a great cut and a great time! I'm a pretty demanding customer, needing to be informed and reassured each step of the way and Heather really earned my trust. This girl knows her game! The total came to $90, and the recommended tip is 15-20%. I'll definitely become a Glam regular!
