Sabrina's Cafe

Heard some great reviews and some not so good. We went for breakfast on a Monday at 11 am. No crowds, no wait. Service was very good and food was excellent. I guess waits are typical on weekends but no problem on weekdays. They serve breakfast till 4 pm!

The original Sabrina's is excellent. Somewhere along the lines the second Sabrina's on Callowhill lost its way. The service has to be the worst I have ever had. We had a host who was rude and had no concept of time. When the 6 of us finally did sit down out the tables were not cleaned. After we ordered, the waitress never put in two of the meals (not sure how this happens). The meals were not even close to being ready by the time the other four had gotten their food and had already eaten. Though we were not charged for the two meals that never showed, we were still planning on using the tip to provide a bit of feedback. We were surprised to learn that when the bill came a 20% tip was already added because we were a table of 6, even though only 4 of us got to eat. Even talking with the manager didn't resolve the issue. So nice job Sabrina's, you got an extra $5 for your waitress. Too bad you lost 6 customers in the process.

I was staying at the Sheraton in Center City and they recommended this place. It was great - breakfast, brunch, lunch was all great food. The atmosphere is great too. Sunday brunch lines get long so get there early or step up to the first-come first-serve counter. You have to go to Sabrina's Cafe.
