Shades of Gray~ Window Tinting

They tinted my wifes Honda last week and it looks great. No issues at all with the tint job. Everyone I know has been using Shades Of Gray to get tint done and I am a believer.

I called on Sunday (closed) and left a message to set up an appt. On Monday morning at 9:15 AM they called me back and gave me an appt. at 2 PM, got there at 1:30 and out the door by 2:50 PM.

I recently had my car tinted at Shades of Gray and they were very efficient and proffesional. They did an excellent job and I'm very satisfied with their work. I would definatley recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right! And the staff is very accomidating and polite.

i dont know what else to say other than wow. These guys got me and my friends car in on a Saturday, knocked them out in no time at all while we watched TV. The cars look spotless. They even did some kind of black stuff on the dots on the back window which looks alot better than how most places ive seen done do it. My stang loves its color!!Thanks guys!

I recently took my truck to shades of gray to get my windows, tail lights, and fogs tinted. I had heard good things about these guys so i decided to try them out. Needless to say i was blown away by how clean of job was done in such a timely manner. Everyone there was very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend shades of gray to anyone who is interested getting their vehicle tinted.

I had just purchased a G8gt and had heared about SOG from several people. They were very helpfull in helping me pick the right tint, not to dark and not to light.
The job came out great and I'm very picky!! They also recommened there clear paint protection package which went on Flawlessly. I would highly recommened SOG to any -body who wants a great product and service at a resonable price.

Took my car to get tinted back in February 09. The finished quality was very poor because all the windows had air bubbles in them. Took it back a month later to get re-done and they only replaced the rear-window and the driver side windows, eventhough the other windows had air bubbles in them. Yet, air bubbles persisted and took it back a third time to get fixed and this time they only re-did the front driver's side window.

The most frustrating part of this experience was all the time that I had to take off from work to take my car to get it fixed (or at least make it look better). I had my previous cars tinted and they all came out perfect on the first try. The workmanship of SOG is novice at best, but they have been in business for some time so I figured that they shouldn't run into these issues. I will live with my current tint job because I am tired of wasting my time bringing the car back to them when they can't seem to do the job correctly. I will not be using them again nor would I recommend them to my friends.

I got my grand prix tinted w a month and the guys at shades of grey are good guys. They even advised me what tint would look good on my car. My tint on the passenger side window came off one cold morning bc there was a leak in the window and it froze, and i was dumb enough to put down the window resulting in taking the tint right off, but I called them 5 minutes after the incident happened and they said that I could come in free of charge and they would replace the tint for me. They have a comfortable room with tv, internet, and free snacks, and the wait time is really short. It took at the most 40-45 minutes for mine and they had 2 other cars in during the same time. They do high quality work. Anyway if your looking for good, honest guys who are most importantly good at what they do then go with SHADES OF GREY. you wont regret it. They also have the best prices. My tint cost 165. Great deal! your a fool if you don't give a 5 star review after you get a tint job.

I live in NJ and around here window tinting is around 350. I found Shades Of Grey though Google and i called and was amazed when they said only 180. So i drove a hour to the shop and received the best service, from two extremely helpful, and nice guys. 40 minutes later my car was done and looked picture perfect.

I would highly recommend Shades Of Grey. A+++++++

If you are looking for a fast 45 minutes, extremely high quality tint job on your car windows (whole car,except windshield), this is the place. I had my car done (20% front, 5% rear, and 15%rear window), all Ryan, Damon and the "young guy(sorry I did not ask your name)" needed was 45 minutes! I am still waiting for it to dry within next few weeks, overall workflow was amazingly fast, I have the metallic tint. it does not interfere with my AM radio reception since I have a external antenna.

STOP searching and just give them a call at 215-357-3001, they will give a best price you can't ever find somewhere else....most importantly, best tint job you are going to have on your car plus life time warranty (on metallic only; non-metallic has limited); they will fix it if you find any problem.

SOG was a highly recommended referral from a close friend of mine. I am so glad that I decided to use their services. Damon and Ryan were very knowledgeable and helpful to me since I had to take my previous tint off because it looked a mess. I decided to go with 15% and I'm extremely happy with the finish product. The facility was clean and their service was excellent!!!! I would recommend them to anyone.

Definitely one of the best tint shops in the Philadelphia area. Ryan and the rest of the guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and they do an incredible job at a great price. Their shop is immaculate and perfect for doing tint. The work area is carpeted to trap dust and they have bright lights and water jets available all around the work area to ensure they never miss a spot. If you wait while the job is done, they have a comfortable waiting area with high speed wireless internet available.

By far, the best tint job I've ever had done. I'm definitely going to have my other vehicles done there!

I checked out alot of shops because i didnt want to trust my BMW to just anyplace. After a few months, I chose Shades of Gray window tinting because I saw many examples of great work and I dint feel like they would treat me poorly. They took the time to explain the process, what to expect and even made sure I was completely comfortable with the work being preformed. As you could see from my pictures on thier website (forum gallery, page 4, 08 black 650). I was equally impressed that so many people were completely satisfied with thier work, and now I see why. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else, and I would recommend Shades of Gray to anyone looking for tinting.

These guys are great, if you want your windows tinted this is the place to go! I had my 04 white Honda Accord done in 20% in June and its looks so nice. I was able to wait for it and it only took them a little more then an hour to do from start to finish. They made me feel real comfortable, we even chatted about our kids. the price is great & the complements with the tint. If you're looking to get your car windows tinted Shades of Gray is the place to go. Damon and Ryan you guys did an AWESOME job, Thank you!!

I had all 3 of my cars tinted and the service was fantastic. I also had an aftermarket spoiler installed on my wife's CTS- the car came out looking very classy! I had 20% tint on the CTS and 15% on my Acura TL. Ryan and Damon are meticulous installers, and take really good care of the car while it's in their hands.

I was going to have my tints done in northern NJ, and that would have been a huge mistake as it was going to cost ~$350 per car- I had my cars done for substantially less, and I have a lifetime warranty on the film (Llumar brand). I would recommend this business for your tinting needs (they also tint windows on buildings) without hesitation. Be sure to check out their website and look at the gallery of cars to see the work they have done- this is probably the best way to determine what % tint you want.

Shades of Gray is hands down the best tint job I've ever had done on any of my cars. Ryan and Damon are absolute professionals at what they do and extremely friendly on top of that. They use Llumar tint, I went with 15% all around on my 2009 Corolla S and it looks amazing. The whole installation took about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. The tint is computer cut for precise and clean lines, not hand cut like some other places I've been to in the past. They have a little area in the shop for customers where you can hang out off to the side and watch them work and there is also an air conditioned waiting room with a couch, magazines and a TV.

I have had all 3 of my cars tinted at Shades Of Gray and i am more than happy with them all. Fast service, air in the waiting room and you don't have to spend the whole day there. They are very knowledgeable in car and residential/business tinting. I always recommend them and will be sure to take my next vehicle there when the time comes.

I have 2 scions that I brought to Shades of gray. Both cars were done in reasonable time and they looked great. The XB they factory matched the front windows and the TC they made look 100% better with a nice shade of tint. I sent 3 scion club friends over who all were completely satisfied and we all will never go anywhere else. Ryan and Damon were helpful and they walked you through the process. They explained what to expect with the film after installed,and the made you feel completely at ease with them handling my rides.

I would highly recommend these guys if you're looking to get your car windows tinted. They did my 04 Grand Am and it looks fantastic. I have gotten quite a few comments on how good the windows look. I went with 20% tint. Damon and Ryan were both very nice and informative in helping me make my choice in how dark to go with the tint. I had no problems what so ever,no ripples,no bubbles only nice clear,smooth windows. If you're looking to get your car windows tinted I would definately go to Shades Of Gray.

I had been in contact with serveral tinting shops in my area for a while. They all treated me as if I was dumb and should have known more about tint than I did. I had never researched tinting a car before and obviously asked a lot of questions. Since I live in NJ I was also worried about the laws. SOG not only took the time to answer all of my questions, but when it came time to decide what % tint to get, they were very patient with me. Ok, patient enough until they TOLD me what tint I was getting. Their shop is EXTREMELY clean and modern. The materials and technique is beyond what Ive been shown at the other places. Just a great bunch of guys who are extremely knowledgeable, easy to deal with and are also fellow car enthusiasts.

These guys are awesome! I was one of the guys who went with justice469 to get my BMW tinted. They took the time to explain everything to me, knew all the tinting laws in NJ, and helped me make a decision on what tint to get. They also did a pretty good job with the tints! They look amazing and I am very pleased.

Excellent customer service too! Extremely friendly and made the entire process a breeze! I would totally recommend them to a friend and will certainly get my next vehicle tinted by them.. I may even go with a darker tint!

Me and a bunch of friends took our cars down there today for tint. Everyone there is very customer service oriented and took the time to explain everything in detail.

Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful, they guide you through the decision making process and explain the tint laws of the state that you live in.

The use a machine that custom cuts every piece of tint so you do not have to worry about having multiple pieces of tint on your back or side windows.

+1 for highly recommended.

I heard about shades of gray from a friend of mine, I took a look at his car and called to schedule an appointment to have my truck done that day. the guys at SOG got me in almost immediately, and had my truck in and out in less than an hour. the work is excellent, no bubbles, peeling or anything. Shortly after, I called and scheduled an appointment for my girlfriend's civic. again, the guys had me in there 2 days later and out an hour after I got there. I could not ask for better service, quality, or convenience. SOG is the only place I will take any of my vehicles for tint for as long as I am driving! also the pricing is excellent

A friend of mine showed me online that a bunch of car clubs all go to Ryan at shades of gray. I called him about my VW r-32, a vehicle that some shops I called said that the back window couldnt be done in one piece. Well ryan not only did it in one piece, but used 5% metallic film(which I found out is one of the hardest to fit properly) He also had the car done quickly and cleanly, within a hour or so. 3 friends of mine are heading there within the next few weeks. I wouldnt risk going anywhere else! I expected very good work , but I was astounded at how good they are!

Their combined experience and super clean location makes for an upstanding, integrible, honest, and understanding business. So, a couple weeks ago my girl and I got both our cars tinted at Shades of Gray. I see there?s all ready a bunch of great reviews about them on city search, but they earned them all, I?m sure. They were totally professional and entirely helpful with everything from walking me through how to remove the faded old tint over the phone step by step (not Shades of Gray?s tint), to helping me decide which % tint would be best for our applications. They literally walked me through the process of taking off tint correctly for a good half an hour over the phone. They didn?t mess around with me at all either, they told me not everyone has the patience to do it, but it could be done at home.

Why did I drive almost an hour both ways with two cars just to get it done by Shades of Gray? Well, I?ve heard nothing but good stuff about them prior to the tint job, they were the only tint shop that was ever introduced into the Philadelphia Auto Show, they have a killer guarantee on all their work, and their quote on the tint was lower than anyone else?s (but the quality of work would not lead you to believe it).

As I watched them tint the cars I saw a lot of things I liked. They took numerous steps to keep all dust and debris down to untraceable. If Ryan felt that the piece of tint he just put on did not represent his best work, he would rip it off and start over from the top with a new piece of tint at no expense to customer (and he did a few times on my girlfriend?s right door window). I thought it always looked perfect to me, but he wanted it to be beyond what I would have considered exceptional work.

I plan on taking any future cars to them for tint work. Damon and Ryan are a killer combination working on these cars. They do all windows in one piece film. You never get seems at Shades of Gray. Quality seems to be their forte.

Shades of Gray tinted 3 of my cars, doing an incredible job on each one! I saw them at the Philly Auto Show and it was obvious these guys know what they're talking about. Ryan and Damon are extremely professional and friendly to everyone. I was also pretty amazed at how clean the shop is. It took less than an hour to do each car, and the tint is of the highest quality available. Shades of Grey is a great shop, they have tinted 4 cars for me and i have nothing but great success from them. They use great film which really holds up to the abuse windows take. There service is top notch and you cant beat there great pricing and warranty on all there work. Customers will be very impressed with there great location and cleanliness around the shop. I called many shops in the philadelphia area before going to Shades of Gray. My concerns were how would my 2008 G-37 be treated and what would be the results. My husband and I even drove to some shops to check out what they looked like and how the service was. Nothing could have impressed us more than how we were treated by Ryan and Damon. They not only answered everything we asked, but made me feel at ease with the process. Thier prices were very reasonable, the shop very clean and the workmanship impecable. Just over an hour to get it done and gave us a lifetime warranty that goes nationwide. I am bringing my IS300 in a few weeks to get done by them, and will bring every car i get from here on out.

I was initially impressed with Shades of Gray after talking to Ryan at the Philadelphia auto show. After that, i checked out their website which again was quite impressive and informative with pictures of all the cars they've tinted categorized by car company. It didn't take long to get an appointment. The shop is clean and the people could not be any more friendly. Not only did it take less than an hour to tint my car, but the quality was well above par. I'd recommend Shares of Gray to anyone interested in tinting their windows.

I went to Shades of Gray for the 1st time today to get my son's 1st car (91 cavilier) tinted, and I was very impressed at how thorough and professional the guys there were... owners Ryan and Damon are true pros. I won't even consider anywhere else in the future after my experience... top notch - perfect job, great price and excellent customer service! They did a great job on my CRX. Real professional yet friendly at the same time. Got to hang out and watch as they tinted. They explained the whole process and let me snap some shots while they worked.

I was very impressed at the Philly Auto Show. Expecting to see the Hot and Cool Cars and I did. But when I ventured into the 'Tuners Salon' I came to the one booth Shades of Gray tinters....these two guys Ryan and Damon knew their stuff ! they had a lot of energy and were there to help...told the story wanted to help you and gave the show a 'PLUS FACTOR' Later I looked up the 'Shades of Gray ' web Site and that too was awesome ...well thought out and presented with all kinds of very cool cars the shop looked great and the guys were in tune .. Best Tinting service around!!! I called to get my 350z tinted on a Friday at about 12 p.m. By 4.pm I was home with a freshly tinted car. I called about 7 other tinting shops and they all said they wouldn't be able to see me for about a week. Shades of gray came through for me in that same day. my appointment was at 3:00 and like I said by 4 I was home. Super fast service and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thanks for everything!!

This past weekend, I was in town to visit my family for the Christmas holiday. While I was home, I wanted to get my windows tinted but not many places were open on Christmas Eve. That wasn't the case with Shades of Gray. I gave them a call and they fit me in for an appointment at 11:00 am on Monday morning. The guys took their time and explained to me my options. I decided to have my black 2007 Toyota Corolla fitted with 50% tint in the front windows and 40% in the back (gotta stay legal :) They let me watch the entire process and explained to me what they were doing. The price was very reasonable and I even received a discount. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Shades of Gray to anyone looking to get their windows tinted!!!

After checking out different tint shops, I decided to go with Shades of gray and I am glad I did. They helped me understand what tint I needed for my vehicle and explained the process thoroughly. This is my 4th car that I am tinting over the years with these guys. I recently got 15% on my 07 Infiniti G35. The service and the quality of work is excellent. I wouldn't recommend anybody else except for Shades of Gray~ Window Tinting.
