What an awful establishment. Our car got towed to this seedy establishment. We walked into what we thought was the customer service area to arrange to pick up the vehicle but we were wrong. The man behind the counter (which was encased in bulletproof glass) directed us to the "window" outside which we had mistakenly missed when we walked by. This "window" was a drawer, a intercom and a camera so that the mysterious voice from the little box could watch us. It was freezing outside and we had to stand on the sidewalk trying to negotiate with a strange voice coming out of the wall. Our insurance info and registration was in the glove box but we were not allowed to get it ourselves, instead we had to put our keys into a mystery box and hope for the best. Whoever went and looked couldn't find our credentials and since we were refused, again, to look for ourselves we had to go about getting copies in a hurry since if you don't claim your car in seven days it gets sold as scrap. This is a legal way to steal cars and not call yourself a chop shop! What a scam!!!
