I am completely disturbed by my recent experiences at this Doggie Style location. First, I was recommended by the manager to a new Groomer "Rae" for my Female Yorkshire Diamond, needless to say, the groomer literally chopped my dog'a hair up and had uneven layers of hair all over her body and legs. I was clearly dissatisfied and management did not offer a refund or discount. No one wants to hear "I'm sorry" after a bad haircut, it takes months for hair to grow back. Needless, to say, I vowed not to bring my dog back for grooming until they changed groomers. My lasted experience was listening to the same manager's recommendation on a flavor of dog food to purchase. After paying $31.99 plus tax and getting home and my finicky yorkie would not eat the food, with receipt in hand I took the opened package back to the store for an exchange for another flavor and I was denied. Now, I'm stuck with $31.99 plus tax dog food I can't use. What a price for having customer loyalty to a store after they messed my dog'a hair up. It is clear this location does not focus on customer loyalty and consumer satisfaction. Profits are the basis for poor decision making. What's sad is the fact that I would have continued spending money in the store on products and grooming. Was loosing my business really worth $31.99?

We took our puppy to get a BATH, and a good brushing last Friday. He has longer hair, so we wanted the pro's to tackle it. I had instructed the "groomer" (what a joke to even call her a groomer) Rosie specifically to NOT CUT my pups hair at all. I asked her to try to get the knots out of his fur, and do her best, period. Well.....after TWO HOURS (my pup is 10lbs and a peanut), they still had not called us to pick him up, so we went over to pick him up. They told us that his face was still wet, b/c he wouldn't let them dry it. This was totally b.s. because the rest of his body was completely dry, and he absolutely doesn't mind when we dry his face. Well....we realized the reason they didn't want to dry his face. Rosie ended up shaving, yes, shaving down to his skin, random patches of fur ALL OVER my dogs body. She shaved complete chunks out of his fur, including major sections behind his ears (hence the wet ears to hide the bald spots). She shaved his entire belly, as well as random parts of his legs. NEVER was she authorized to do such a thing. On top of all of this, the "groomer" (again...what a joke) handed us his two dog tags with a completely bent and plied tag holder. She stated that his collar "got stuck" on the cage that he was in, and she had to ply it off. Wait...it gets worse. When we returned home mortifyed at what our dog just went through, we realized he had little bloody knicks all over his body. Rosie had cut him in places, and NEVER felt the need to clean it, or even tell us about it. We are outraged and disgusted that this place can still be in service. After speaking to MANY other local dog owners, 99% of them had similiar stories about this place. Its dispicable that Doggie Style calls their services "grooming services". Seemed more like toture to me. DO NOT take your pet to this store. Go a step further, and don't even buy ANYTHING from them. There are several other wonderful dog stores in the city to give your money to instead of these cold hearted, talentless people.
