This is a great great great authentic Southern Chinese food restaurant. The food may be a little spicy for some people, so you can ask the waiter to customize the food to your liking.

Consistently great food. Very friendly and responsive staff. Amazing pricing. Close to work. What more could you ask for? How about authentic recipes you usually can't find outside of a Chinatown.

I've only been here for lunch but every time the food has been both authentic and excellent. Definitely order something off of the Chinese menu. You won't be disappointed. This is a real find for a suburban restaurant. Highly recommended.

This pace is to die for. If you want greasy rice and those silly crunchy noodles, skip it. If you want real Chinese food prepared immaculately, read on.

BYOB. Simple decor. VERY family friendly. Owner very present; answers questions, makes recommendations. This place is the real deal. There is a "regular" menu and a Chinese menu (with English, sort of).

Lionhead meatballs. Whole fish. Tripe. All sorts of other foods I've either never had or only could score in Chinatown. Amazing flavors and textures. Delicious, very obviously from-scratch broth. Noodles - made by hand fresh daily (not on the premises). Many varied pork dishes - everything I've had has been ***excellent***.

My suggestion would be to order something you know you'll like and extend yourself by trying something you've never had. Do make an effort to order some vegetable dishes or sides as well since this is a pretty meat-centric menu and the entrees don't automatically come with veggies.

Excellent value. We drive past 10 Chinese restaurants, easily, to get here. Take-out is probably not such a hot idea since these foods should be eaten fresh and hot.

Han Dynasty was selected as one of the Top 50 restaurants by Philadelphia magazine, so we thought we'd give it a try. Our first trip to the restaurant was good, especially the Beef with Scallions. A few weeks later, we ordered the same dish for takeout and were extremely disappointed in the quality. They must have run out of scallions, because the dish consisted of beef, with plain old white onions and very few scallions in it. Inconsistent is a word I would use to describe the food at Han Dynasty. We won't be going back.
