.

I rented a 3br room here. It was cheaper then any other apt in the area and extremely convienant to our jobs. It has a pool and my kids LOVE to swim. I love the layout of the apartment and just the right amount of space. But, our apartment was extremely outdated, dirty and had bad water damage. They have a govenor on our heat and so it only went up to 71. Seemed fine when they told us this (they pay our heat); but it was extremely cold in the fall & winter months. We had to buy electric heaters and really bundle up. We were on the ground level which was slightly underground, it also had huge glass windows and sliding glass doors in every room which maybe is why it felt so cold and damp. What seemed great at first was that we were across from the laundry & storage area. But, we heard everyone over there (could be very loud at times) and I think it was part of the b-g problems we had. I am a bit of a neat freak and vacuum everyday, do my dishes every evening, straightened up daily and did my deeper cleaner every weekend. But, we had lots of spiders, ants (not in the kitchen though) -- we had small blk ants and huge carpentar ants, thousand leggers (ick) and once I found a c-ckr-ach in the bathroom (ICK!). I ended up hiring Orkin to come out on a reg basis.
I have always owned a home and renting was new to us. We had sold our home and had expected to move because of husbands job. That ended up not happening. I had never lived in an apartment and hope to never do so again after that experience. This was probably an average experience, but, i just can't rate it as such. It was just too awful!!!
