I bought plenty of annuals, perennials and house plants from Richardson's on Rt 202 in Glen Mills last year. One of them was special to my heart - a gardenia plant for a close girlfriend as she loves flowering plants. The plant was fulll of buds and we were so excited waiting for the 1st bloom. After 2 weeks, the plant showed signs of 'illness', leaves started turning yellow and buds never blossomed. Every time my friend and I called Richardson's we got plenty of advice - put it out in the sun, dont water too much, bring it in if its cool outside. She did all of the above and more. She brought the plant in during Fall and hoped that it would revive in Spring. It didnt. I asked Richardson's if they could provide a replacement and the cashier pointed to a "No guarantees" sign and lectured me on how to take care of gardenias. She even then said that I should have purchased the gardenia plant food from them. This is gouging in today's day and age. And for the 100s of dollars of business I gave them last year, there is no service from their end. I walked out of the store never to return again. I would rather go to Home Depot for my gardening needs this year. They give a one year guarantee, no questions asked and their service is impeccable. Quality wise - in my experience they are far better than Richardson's. I havent had any plant from HD dying on me. More importantly, they dont gouge customers in the name of quality. Be careful of Richardson's.

A huge garden center -- every herb you can imagine. The plants are healthy and hearty and you can plant them anywhere for great longterm results. Huge selection of lawn ornaments, too, although they tend to be a bit too oversized and overpriced for me.

Richardson's has a great selection of annuals and perennials. I have always been happy with the flowers once I get them home and planted. The service is fantastic.

Every spring my first stop for flowers is Richardson's. They have the best selection of annuals in the area. These flowers are constantly being watered and pruned by their staff,The service there is excellent, there is always someone nearby to help load flowers into your car.
