I made an appointment to get a recalled part fixed on my dishwasher. I waited 4 hours and the tech never came. I called Esser again and the person who answered said she would call me right back. She never did. I called later and left a message and again nobody called back. I guess they don't want business, and they are not getting mine. Call another appliance repair company, not Esser!

I made an appointment to get a recalled part fixed on my dishwasher. I waited 4 hours and the tech never came. I called Esser again and the person who answered said she would call me right back. She never did. I called later and left a message and again nobody called back. I guess they don't want business, and they are not getting mine. Call another appliance repair company, not Esser!

During the week of March 14th I contacted Esser regarding a repair on my microwave. They promptly sent a repair man out that week. He inspected our microwave and determined he would have to order parts from Frigidaire to repair the unit. He indicated the parts would take 7-10 business days to arrive and then he would return to complete the repair. He ordered the parts while at our home via the phone. At that time I paid him via a personal check $74.95 for his service with the agreement that he would return once the parts arrived to complete the repair. As of today, June 30, 2010, I have yet to have my microwave repaired. I have placed calls on the following dates to Esser at 414-422-0837 and left a voicemail message without a response: 3/22, 4/8, 4/12, 4/13, 5/25, 6/25, 6/30. I have also called on the following dates and spoke to Monica: 4/14-I questioned Monica on the two previous messages I left on 4/12 and 4/13 that were not returned. I told her I was concerned they had gone out of business as I had not heard back from them. She was very rude and short with me and indicated she was the only one working and didn't have time to return calls. I told her that was unacceptable after I had given her over 48 hours to return my call. She told me the parts were not in yet and they would call me when they were in. 5/3 - Monica indicated 2 of the 3 parts we needed had come in and they would call me when they were all in. 6/3 - Monica indicated she would check on the part and would call me back. She never did. While I understand Esser cannot control the rate at which Frigidaire delivers the parts, I find it hard to believe that it took that long to receive the parts. In addition, the lack of customer service I received is unacceptable. To this day my microwave is still not fixed!!

Lousy at returning calls. I have been going back and forth between Frigidaire and Esser in which to find out if the part that is wrong with my washer is under warranty.

I find myself calling them to find out about the repair, if it may be covered under warranty with promises to call me back. I do not have the time for this, my husband is newly disabled, we have 3 children all in school.

The last time I spoke to them was last week Mon (which she has said she was going to call me the Friday that just passed.) and she said she would contact a tech to see if this is covered, which I called today to see if she had found out anything. (a week later) She proceeds to tell me that I need proof of purchase, but the sticker on the washer says 4/05, which Frigidaire told me that was acceptable without the receipt. Also, the manual states that motor controller is covered up to 5 years, but the part needed is motor control board. All I want to know is if the motor controller and motor control board are the same thing.....

I've called Akrit and have been told that when they are here on service call, they can call Frigidaire to find out if this part is under warranty. Which to me, I just want to know if it's worth my time having the technician out here. Being as IF it's not, I pay for the service call. Which I paid one already and paying another one, I would have been better off buying the part I need off of Ebay.

But upon calling Esser today to find out anything, the woman was very rude . And when she explained to me I need the purchase receipt, and I explained to her that I don't understand how that is benefical, just more work for me to go through to get the proof and then to go through ALL that to find out it's not covered, is not worth it in my book.

But when I explained to her what Akrit told me, she said very rudely, "Ok, I'll find out AGAIN from the technicans. Thannnnkss BYE! *Click*

Not worth it, not worth the hassle or the goose chase they like to have you on.

Really, not the way to handle a business if you ask me.

In the process of over a month of leaving messages, the customer service never returned my call and when they did, they were the most unprofessional staff. It sounded like I was talking to a 12 year old with very poor phone manners.

When making the appt to have a service tech come out to fix my dishwasher, I took off of work and waited for 8 1/2 hours for no one to come. I did not receive a call until 3 1/2 hours after the scheduled appt for the person to tell me they were not coming.

When trying to reschedule the appt, Esser Appliance was very rude and unprofessional. They would not give options for a scheduled service except another 12-5 block. They were unwilling to work on any other time that would fit my schedule.

I would never recommend Esser Appliance to anyone! Stay Away!
