Zarletti serves traditional Italian classics in a casual contemporary atmosphere. Opening in 2004 we have been rated by Milwaukee critic Dennis Getto as "some of the best Italian food being served in Milwaukee these days." The favors strongly towards pastas, but include tortellini in a heart cream sauce from Northern Italy. An owner special is the pesto potatoes with a basil garlic brush. The lunch menu includes paninis of varying ingredients such as prosciutto, arugula, portabella, and fresh greens. Deserts include cannoli to match the New Yorker's expectations, wonderful panna cotta, and a very light tiramassu. Our wine list includes international and Italian reds and whites by the glass or the bottle as well as a fair selection of Spumante.
