I am a regular customer from Madison wisconsin which is 220 miles round trip. though, they do have a couple of wig shops here, I have always shop at cosmo at least three times a year for the past few years. I purchase a wig that i was told would be just like the one i tried on but I couldn't try the wig on i had to purchase it first. I did purchase and threw the wig on without any fanfare of trying to adjust it or style it. I came home and began to make the adjustments and found that the hair that was sticking up was not something that you can adjust it was a serious defeat in the wig itself. it is sown in at the top in a ball that no matter how you comb or brush it down it will pop back up. When I phoned to complain and request that I get a wig in replacement, I was told by the manager (black woman) that she remember that I wore the wig out of the store and there was nothing wrong with the wig. I told her, and she knows this already, i paid very little attention then, in fact it was sticking out of place but I thought that this was something that could be adjusted with a brush but that was not the case. She continued to rant and rave about her position as manager and what she was not going to do, even though she knows that I am a customer who comes from out of town she can't exchange the wig, However, she stated that she didn't want to loose my business. I became quiet angry and asked for the owner of the store, who she said conveniently so, "oh he is not here and he is gone for two weeks", however I fouind that terribly strange since she went to get him only to come back to say he isn't there and wouild not be there for two weeks. I realize that some people have a problem with authority and no matter what the situation is whatever they can do to exploit that authority is just what they do. (I am a counselor/therapist by the way) How this woman can sit there and deny me what my money purchased and to deny it in such an easy to lucky attitude is beyond me. I work very hard for my money and am very upset that she knowingly exploited my patriotism with this store. I understand that she wants to get brownie points for her Asian boss and that is why she is there. He would never have chosen a person that would be fair and honest with the blacks who are 99% of their customers. He would have a problem exploiting the public by
