If I could give Orosz negative stars, I would.
Embassy and all the apartments they own (Orosz Properties, West Johnson Apartments) are not kept up well, and the management is absolutely terrible to deal with.

I've only lived in this house for 4 months so far, but they've done the following
-Greeted us with an angry or rude tone upon entering the office every time
-failed to address a bedbug problem for three weeks, claiming fist that it must be spiders, and second that we brought them in and had to remove them (Madison law says it's the landlord's duty to take care of pest control)
-tried to charge us for the bedbug extermination
-refused to get rid of a mouse problem
-have not fixed our heat, which means one of the bedrooms has been uninhabitable for three weeks
-entered our home FOUR times without 24 hours' notice (a Madison City Ordinance and part of the lease agreement)
-yelled at us for paying rent in cash

I've heard horror stories about security deposits here. I guess my hope is gone for seeing any of mine. The rent is fine, but you'll spend all of your time trying to get running water, a working stove, and a livable home if you decide to live here.

To top it all off, everyone in the office treats you like an idiot. Not cool, Orosz. We are currently suing for the illegal things they've done.

For everyone currently renting: Ask for a list of what was taken out of the prior tenant's security deposit. They're required to show it to you by law.
