They should be good bakery and keep making cheesecakes and some other cakes. They don't know how to cook, and too "big" menu with trash taste!

Outstanding food. Had a great experience. Met a friend I hadn't seen in nearly 20 years. We were promptly seated, and our drinks were served without delay. Our waiter did an excellant jod tending our table. The food was delicious. Of course, we couldn't leave without sampling their world famous cheesecake.

i was so excited when nashville was getting a cheesecake factory because i love the ones i have visited in other areas. i have been to this cheesecake factory four times, and each time is worse. the service is horrible. the food is not up to par. each time i think maybe they have gotten new servers and management, but i get the same crappy service and lack luster food.

The menu is quite extensive, the decor unique, the wait long, the accoustics poor, the prices HIGH, the portions too large. I'm glad I got to experience it once but probably won't return. I prefer smaller portions at a lower cost and a noise level where a table conversation may be enjoyed.

It's called CHEESECAKE factory, so what's with the gnarly cheesecake? It's light, fluffy, and icky sweet. Real NY cheesecake is dense, heavy, with a touch of sweetness. If you like REAL cheesecake, then you won't like this place. Don't even get me started on the food. It's like Ruby Tuesdays but with better garnishments. The menu is 321 pages long. It needs a table of contents. Then the waitress comes by. "Have you all decided what you want?" Give me a millineum and then come back. I might have gone through this ream of paper by then. Most restaurants try to specialize in something, but no, these jokers try to appeal to everyone, when really they appeal to nobody. They are like the Kia Rio of dining. Nobody wants that garbage. Food is sub-par. End of story.

I went with my boyfriend a couple months ago. They said the wait would be 30 minutes but we waited at least an hour--I fell asleep on my boyfriends shoulder! When we were seated the waitress seemed bored and ready to get out of there. She got really agtitated with my boyfriend because she couldnt hear him over all of the nioise. The food was average and over priced. I got the four cheese pasta. The chocolate cake was ok too. All in all, save your money and go to cheeseburger charlies

Everything is delicious!!! Many people think of Cheesecake Factory just for their cheesecake--which is quite amazing--but their meals are amazing, too! I lived in Boston for a while and really loved going to the restaurant there. When I moved to Nashville, I was excited to find out that Cheesecake was here, as well. The fried mac and cheese appetizer is my favorite...or maybe the spring rolls...or the quesadillas...or, well, anything you order is going to be wonderful. It gets really crowded, though. Enjoy the patio when the weather is pleasant (this time of year is perfect!). Enjoy!

4 of us visited cheesecake factory yesterday around 6pm. Granted it was as Saturday, so we knew there would be at least an hour wait. We were surprised when we were told the wait was 15-30 minutes. But it actually took almost twice that long. It wouldn't have been a big deal except the crowd in there is like a mosh pit. Crowded doesn't really even describe it. People are pushing and elbowing trying to get in and out and there is no place to wait without being in the way. While we waited we noticed it was hot, but we figured it was because we were close to the front door and there were so many people...we were wrong. I never found out why there was no air conditioning because no one (including our waiter) gave us a chance to ask. It had to be at least 80-85 degrees in there. By the time we waited for our table, ordered and ate it was 3 hours. The food was mediocre, not worth the $200 for 4 people. We only saw the waiter for a total of 30 seconds and he was too busy to help us.
Bottom line: The only reason people will wait for an hour to sit in 85 degree heat drinking $13 mojitos is because it's Green Hills.

My husband i went here on a special occasion and we loved it! I will say the waiting period to be seated is insane! It was packed so we just got put on the wait list and went next door to Starbucks to use some time up.When we finally were seated we were greeted by our very friendly and helpful server.I was a but overwhelmed my the size of the menu but that could be a good thing as well.Variety! The mixed drinks are highly recommended and so is the steak! One slice of chessecake is so big that we had to share.(the White Chocolate Cafe Latte Chessecake is delish!)

It is great that there is free valet (minus the tip) since the parking lot is always full, but walking into the Cheesecake Factory takes your breath away. This restaurant is HUGE! The decor is extremely eclectic with hints of Egyptian and moroccan. The menu is so large that there is advertising in it which tends to be a distraction, but the serving staff was always there to help with questions. The cost of an entree seems high, but with portion sizes very large you can share or take it home then it's not so bad. If you can't find something you truly want here, then you shouldn't go out to eat. From beginning to end was just a great experience with great food and great people. Don't forget to save room for the Cheesecake!

When you are ready for an experience with appetizers and entrees from a multitude of cultures, The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect place! Since it's located at the Mall at Green Hills, you're indulged with valet parking or you can self-park in the large parking adjacent to the restaurant. Upon walking into the restaurant, your eyes feast on the unique colorful decor featuring designs from around the world which transform the restaurant into a true international interior. Before you reach the host stand there's are 3 bakery showcases providing a glimpse of the indulgences which serve as a basis for the restaurant's namesake (over 30 varieties of cheesecakes, 7 layer cakes, brownies & apple dumplings). You have a choice of a large open bar area with an abundance of tables or their primary seating area comprised of intimate booths and tables. Due to it's popularity, dining at lunch about 11:30am or dinner about 6pm is beneficial if you prefer to be seated immediately, however you can always occupy yourself in the Green Hills Mall while waiting for your table to become available. I recommend reviewing the extensive menu (apprx. 18 pages of appetizers & entrees) at "www.TheCheesecakeFactory" , posted at the front door or ask for a menu from the host. To your pleasant surprise, this restaurant known to feature cheesecake serves food from all around the world. Generous portions allow you to enjoy your selection now and again later when you have your server wrap up your leftovers ! Another positive thing to say about The Cheesecake Factory: their cheesecake is so good, you may choose to get it to-go sometimes

Are you ready to experience stereotypical American culture by means of dining out? Well, The Cheesecake Factory is the perfect place. Let's start with the location: it's at the Mall at Green Hills, where parking is truly an adventure, but there is valet. Upon walking into the restaurant, you'll feast your eyes on the regrettable decor featuring designs from virtually every culture that have transformed the restaurant into one terrible interior. You will then approach the host stand where you'll be given that cute little thing that will vibrate in a couple of hours when your table is ready. After you've roamed around in the mall for a good amount of time, your table will be ready and you'll be seated either in an uncomfortable booth or even more uncomfortable tables. Your server will most likely be the typical half-wit charlatan who [somehow] always gets excellent tips. Soon you'll begin to read the novel that is their menu and discover that, strangely enough, a restaurant known to feature cheesecake serves food from all around the world. You'll be so overwhelmed that you just won't know what to pick. Well, no matter what it is, you can expect it to be gargantuan! The portions are enough to feed three people! Even your "small" Caesar salad can feed the whole table. You can also expect the monstrous portions of food to taste like nothing at all but fat and grease. If you ask me, you should try out the fried macaroni and cheese. It's a heart attack waiting to happen, as most of their food is-- including the salads. At least in some places in the world, restaurants give you the option of having seconds, rather than scooping out 20 pounds of food at once. There is one positive thing to say about The Cheesecake Factory: their cheesecake is good. I get it to-go sometimes.

I hate having to wait but I always have to when I go to the Cheesecake Factory. There is usually a waiting list to get a pager to get a table so don't go if you are in a hurry. The menu is as thick as a bible and the portions are huge. The dessert is really the only reason I go. I went tonight and had to wait 26 minutes to get my to go order but the food is delicious. My favorites are the chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake and the Godive cheesecake. Mmmmmmm.

The Cheesecake Factory is a fabulous restaurant; hence, the long wait on occasion! We have found eating early (5:30-6:00pm) allows for immediate seating and take out is another great option since they bring it to you while you wait in your car! The chop salad and tuxedo cheesecake are two of my favorites! It's hard to venture too far from those menu items; however, in the summer the Flying Gorilla is a must ... and on Sundays, don't miss the French Toast!! The menu offers so many options that everyone can find something, which means it's a great option for picky eaters! I have been waiting a long time for the Cheesecake Factory to come to Nashville! I'm so glad it's here! I'm more flexible on restaurant choices when vacationing in a city that also offers a Cheesecake Factory.

I've never seen this restaurant when it wasn't crowded with a 30 minute wait list. I can't wait 30 minutes to sit so I always go to the bar. I get myself a tall bar table within 5 minutes or less. Portions are HUGE! I get appetizers and always take some away. Margaritas are too sweet and not enough liquor. It's comfortable with pleasant surroundings, ceiling art, etc and fun every time I've visited.

This is not the place to go if you have a rather large party. They only have 3 table that can accomodate large parties and one of the managers, Andrew Plamer was very disrespectful. Our party waited for over 2 hours for a table and never got seated. The manager consistently lied to our party and we everntually ended up going elsewhere. Upon my complaint, the General Manager Mr. Mark Poor basically called me a liar and offered me $25 gift card for 15 disappointed guest. So BEWARE!! BEFORE ENTERING THIS HOT SPOT.

Despite being open quite a while now, the popularity is still huge. Even on a week night there is a wait. The huge crowd and overly loud music was one of the only downsides. The service my husband and I received was nothing short of fabulous. The young waiter anticipated our every need and gave us his full attention despite the crowd. And of course the food was fabulous!

I tend to lean towards non-chain restaurants, but Cheesecake Factory is really something one should try at least once. The Roman inspired decor is phenomenal, and the nearly 20-page menu is varied enough to appeal to everyone. I like that many of the dishes they serve are not easily prepared at home. Expect supersize portions with the exception of appetizers (as should be). My favorite is the deep-fried firecracker salmon rolls (appetizer). I haven't had luck with their non-cheesecake desserts. \Your server can help navigate through the menu based on your preferences. I like that they have a few cheesecakes with a lighter texture. Pumpkin cheesecake is great when in season. I can imagine how service might be compromised during prime dining times, but I've only had extremely friendly service thus far. On the days I've been, a long line forms even before the doors open. Can be a little pricey (kids' meal chicken fingers was more than $7), but this is really one of my favorite places in town.

8 girls went: We were told that we could call 20 min ahead of time and they would get our table ready. We did but upon arrival we were told that we had been lied to. Then we waited 35-50 min. After we were told there were only bar tables available and if we wait 10 min another table would be ready. After 20 more minutes we had to take a table in the bar.

When seated, we waited 30 min before our appetizers order was taken. Both appetizer and the meal took forever to arrive and one order wasn't put in. We had been there so long we didn't feel like eating anymore.

When we spoke to the manager he did nothing to apologize to the ENTIRE table. He only spoke in whispers to the person on the end, ignoring the rest.

Needless to say we WON'T be back.

If you want to be seated right away, you need to make sure that you go at 10:30/45 and wait in line... or you have to go at an odd time in the afternoon like 2:45 or 3 (on the weekdays...it's impossible on the weekends to find a good time!). The Cheesecakes are fantastic. The servers are knowledgeable. The portions are HUGE! I've been twice. I had great service once and bad service once. If you do go at lunch, you need to plan on spending at least 90 minutes there. This isn't a quick lunch place!!!

My goodness at the choices!!! Almost 200 food items and over 40 desserts!! Its very overwhelming but the servers there make you feel at ease and help guide you through the pages of dishes. The atmosphere is amazing with hand painted murals and sconces and the food was fantastic (I had the sante fe salad, my husband had the miso salmon and my son, a pizza) and the portions are bigger than the menu selection! Very pleased with this new resteraunt will definetly come back again and again! two tips.. 1. ask for a booth ahead of time if you want privacy.. some seats are like eating in a cafeteria and 2. ask for Courtney she was so incredibly sweet, effiecient, answered my questions, recommended our dishes and wrote my son's name in chocolate on his birthday cake plate... it was very special, a perfect evening.
