It's been a little over a year since I made a major purchase at Ashley, and my two piece leather sectional still looks as good as it did the day I received delivery. I haven't needed any new furniture since then, but that hasn't stopped

This store is awful. We were fine through the decision making process with our sales person and he told us everything we wanted to hear. Once we paid and our money was gone and the deal is done - that's when they tell you about the 2-4 week delivery timeframe and also that there is a 30% restocking fee if you cancel. They aren't very customer service oriented and it seems like they are trying to pull a fast one! We finally made enough stink to have them cancel our order and went across the road to a store that was VERY customer service oriented.

To whom it may concern,
Two months ago, we had ordered furniture for our daughter to be delivered on August 27th 2009. My wife contacted ??Neil? last week and he said everything is fine and that takes good care of his customers. Yesterday we were told that due to a bed rail and mirror not present, it would be next Wednesday until the furniture would come. (Bed, dresser, sofa, chair, dinning room table)

THIS IS TOTALLY UN ACCEPTABLE! WHAT DOES MY DAUGHTER FOR ALMOST A WEEK WITH NO FURNITURE?

Even though the people we talked with were nice and professional(except the warehouse guy), it is your responsibility to see the costumer is satisfied and if there is a problem, it should be resolved in the quickest way. This is obviously not high on your priority for the following reason:

We asked you if you could go ahead and deliver what you have. You said NO; company policy says all must be delivered.
Then we ask if what you had could be picked up. You said it could with a 48 hour notice.
This tells that when there is a problem you are in flexible and unwilling to help or improve the situation. You were not ready to deliver. Ashley Furniture does not hold their customers well being as a top priority.

I??m astonished that your company would let a person be in their apartment for almost week with no furniture when everything should have been ready. There is no excuse for this lack of professionalism

.In my opinion, you should do whatever it takes to make the customers satisfied regardless if it causes you an inconvenience.
