.

I had been a patient here for many years and liked physician and nurse practic, but am in the process of changing providers due solely to their staff. I have had countless occasions in which the staff were inconsiderate, unproffesional, etc. I realize this establishment is very busy and has little concern for a lack of patrons; perhaps this is why.
I have been unable to have access to anyone in charge who could possibly help me. I am told that physicians and nurse pract. do not call patients and of course I cannot speak to them when I call. The only person I have been told is any sort of superior was one of the people I have an issue with. I have been tempted to attempt to speak with one of the physicians personally, since he/she attends my church, but feel it would probably be inappropriate.
I attempted to make a "consultation" appt. with one of the physicians so that I would have an opportunity to express my feelings about this and was told by the nurse that she couldn't do that "without asking______(the person supposedly in charge, whom as I formerly said, is the person I have issue with)"
It is so frustrating because I think they are good except for a lot of the staff.
I had one person who did not say, but led me, in my opinion, to believe that she was a nurse, when in fact she was a medical assistant, and in my opinion, gave advice outside of her scope. I remember thinking at the time, "I can't believe a nurse....a gastroenterology nurse....is saying things that sound quite obviously incorrect." I found out later that she wasn't a nurse. If you are not aware of the difference between an R.N. and a medical assistant, you can google it. There is quite a difference, in my opinion.
I put up with it for so long like the way you put up with a rude waitress because the food is good and reasonably priced. But I've reached a point after many years that I know I am a glutton for punishment if I continue to accept this level of service.

Pros: Knowledgable physician/nurse pract.

Cons: Seemingly apathetic, rude, and at times incompetent staff
